Project builder and installing my own kitchen sink

Agree JB1 - As SP77 says, I understand builders margins etc, but this one just seems out of whack with reality.

I'm wondering if a majority of the variation cost is for the "precision" involved in running the tap to the required location behind the cistern as you have mentioned, rather than simply chucking it in somewhere next to the unit.

Hard to get any more of an answer on this form the builder apart from "this is our price".

You win some and you lose some I suppose!
