My sister lives in Selandra Rise. My house looks big but it's not that big...28.5sq. They might've been too busy on my frame to do yours :S bit annoying when you don't see any progress. Our gutters and facia is going on today I guess your right, they are busy framing yours to do mine. Our CLE said today they will start the framing this week, fingers crossed. Where abouts in Selandra your sister lives? My sisters on Mackillop Way opposite the school. Who's ur CLE? Our CLE is Alanah Williams, she's really good. The frames were delivered today so looks like she said it right. So excited to see the frame up. Maybe we can catch up with yours? we have the same builder so it's highly possible. My sister lives in hunt club at bonnel street, opposite the park and we are at murgese circuit, infront of us is the creek. Re: Building the Emerson by Carlisle, Sth Eastern Suburbs, V 45Jun 17, 2014 2:00 pm Hi Vonnie11, I am building with carlisle too. i have seen your colour selection, it was good. just wondering about your flooring, i read that you are getting bamboo flooring. what is the colour of that flooring if you don't mind? and how much does it cost to upgrade it to bamboo flooring please. i am tossing between engineered flooring and bamboo, but the word bamboo flooring freaks me out because i know there is always a price that's come out with it. Hi chaden6 What house are you building? The colour bamboo is antique bronze. It was approx. $5,500 to upgrade to bamboo, it's cat 3 flooring. My sister did hers herself outside her builder and it cost $7k so I was happy with this price. Let me know if you want to know anything else Re: Building the Emerson by Carlisle, Sth Eastern Suburbs, V 47Jun 17, 2014 2:53 pm Hello vonnie, thanks a lot. WE are building nevada, oh, that price is good for a bamboo upgrade. are there any display homes that uses that flooring? we just want to see the actual thing once laid out on the floor. it look good by the way. will that be only on your downstairs? I am thinking to have bamboo flooring downstairs only. i don't mind paying for that if the price would be just the same. have you got any information with chestnut bricks? that was our first choice, but it is so hard to see the actual and the sample. they are totally different once it is in place with the house. have you got houses that perhaps we could have a look that they used chestnut for their bricks? Re: Building the Emerson by Carlisle, Sth Eastern Suburbs, V 48Jun 17, 2014 4:53 pm No worries. I've seen a few in here building the Nevada, popular design it seems! Yeah the bamboo will be downstairs with the exception of the laundry and powder room which is tiled. I'm not sure about any displays that have it, most I saw had timber laminate. We did choose chestnut but we didn't look at any houses, just went to the brick place but even then it's only a small sample. There's a build on here that used chestnut viewtopic.php?f=31&t=68855&hilit=Chestnut+bricks&start=140 Re: Building the Emerson by Carlisle, Sth Eastern Suburbs, V 50Jun 28, 2014 2:43 pm Looks awesome! looks like it's getting there pretty quick, hopefully we can catch up with ours.
