If it makes you feel even remotely better we have a Redink build almost finished next to us. During the build they messed up our driveway pavers, its been two months and we are still waiting for it to be fixed properly (first attempt was not even close to acceptable!). We keep being promised it will be fixed up and sorted and we are still waiting! As I missed the drama the one thing I will say is after all the ups and downs we had and swearing we would never build again 18 months after moving in we are loving our house! I won't recommend the builder we used but I would consider building again. Good luck!! Re: MalSannie's future Yanchep build 717Feb 24, 2015 11:41 pm Malsannie I'm sorry that you've had a rough ride so far and that RI have felt the need to respond the way they did. viewtopic.php?t=62083 Re: MalSannie's future Yanchep build 718Feb 25, 2015 12:02 am I did see the RI response but didn't have a chance to reply earlier. How unprofessional - and that is the polite version! Am totally with the others that one of the points of this forum is to be able to vent when things aren't going great. It probably saves people a great deal of sanity! I also think it's a good idea that the builders have a presence so that they can clearly see what opinions are being formed of them based on their clients experiences. Well chalk this one up RI. I spent 10 minutes on hold today listening to the marketing spiel telling me how the company is called Redink because they welcome clients making changes. I guess it's time they start delivering on the marketing bumph and, as someone else said, the customer is ALWAYS right! Mal - this must be awful for you. I hope that some good comes of this and the rest of your build runs smoothly. Btw I really liked the first set of tiles, I think the texture is lovely. N xx Re: MalSannie's future Yanchep build 719Feb 25, 2015 12:05 am Marcia Okay so I missed Chris's response but it sounds like it was bad. Malsannie, I hope they come the goods for you. I know how disheartening it is to be promised and promised only to be let down time and time again. I know the disappointment of expectations (even simple ones) not being met. Many hugs to you. Now, I love both tile choices but I agree with Trees ... which one ties in best with your windows, gutters, doors etc? It is going to be such a nice feature on that side of the house consider it in competition with everything else going on there. Chin up Mal, thinking of you. Jeepers, sounds like many builders need to take Etiquette 101 and Customer Service for Dummies. I really wish H1 and Tapatalk had the 'like' feature there are on other forums. Would be liking this as well as several other comments! Hey everyone Not for me or anyone I know, just generally interested.
