Unfortunately the painter did a poor job in that the finish is all bumpy (orange peel). I know its hard to paint with gloss. But i expected better from a professional. Aus standards allow for some minor defects (especially if it is to do wiuth quality of tim ber used but gloss work should be almost completely smooth. you are totally within your rights to get them to redo it.
