The Stockland people are doing walks on lots for
release number 39 and 40. I know the feeling and we are in the same boat, paying $900 per month plus the builders get $13500 for selling us the land as an incentive. Go figure.

Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2702Mar 12, 2018 7:57 pm No buddy can’t help with that. My guess is that they won’t drag it because they need the money as well. They don’t want to do it quicker as the council would have them doing it in easy stages so the money comes in at a steady rate and not as a flood. Don’t forget the council needs to provide infrastructure to support the construction and the building companies can’t do it in the one hit either so piano piano. Hi eldream16 - we are in stage 28 but have not had communication of registration on hold. We expected July / August.... has it changed again? We secured in stage 28 too. Eagerly waiting but work does not seem to process well. As per Elara email stage 28 construction should commence from April which brings in the registration to Oct - Dec 2018 timeframe. Our tender expires with builder soon. Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2705Apr 06, 2018 9:54 pm Land registration for Stage 25 has once again been delayed. Expected registration is now May 2018. Such a disappointment! I emailed Stockland construction will be “shortly” commencing.... what a load Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2714Apr 13, 2018 4:45 pm Can someone please help with the update on registration of stage 42 date Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2717Apr 17, 2018 8:36 am Hi Elarians, I am building with Wisdom Homes and I didn't include my alfresco area in my plans. I would like to build my alfresco area after handover, but I forgot to leave electrical wiring for future electrical connections to my alfresco for ceiling fan, down lights etc.. Now WH is asking for $ 1000 administration fee plus the cost of wiring etc. Is it possible to get the electrical connections after handover? Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2718Apr 17, 2018 11:27 am Yes you can as long as there is no concrete slab involved. Tell them to take a hike. Electricians are cheaper in the long run. Get three quotes Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2719Apr 17, 2018 8:23 pm ElDream16 Hi Elarians, I am building with Wisdom Homes and I didn't include my alfresco area in my plans. What kind of Alfresco will you be putting in after handover? Is your house single or double? If single then yes easily done after handover. Even double should be Ok as I think most WH plans the back of the house doesn't have the second story over it. They would just need to get into the roof or piggy back off the internal wiring if you have a power point on an external wall going out to the alfresco. I'm sure if you find a good electrician they would be able to do it. Though it might end up costing just as much to do it after handover, electricians are not cheap. |
