The Stockland people are doing walks on lots for
release number 39 and 40. I know the feeling and we are in the same boat, paying $900 per month plus the builders get $13500 for selling us the land as an incentive. Go figure.

I would like to build my alfresco area after handover, but I forgot to leave electrical wiring for future electrical connections to my alfresco for ceiling fan, down lights etc.. Now WH is asking for $ 1000 administration fee plus the cost of wiring etc. Is it possible to get the electrical connections after handover? Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 2718Apr 17, 2018 11:27 am Yes you can as long as there is no concrete slab involved. Tell them to take a hike. Electricians are cheaper in the long run. What kind of Alfresco will you be putting in after handover? Is your house single or double? If single then yes easily done after handover. Even double should be Ok as I think most WH plans the back of the house doesn't have the second story over it. They would just need to get into the roof or piggy back off the internal wiring if you have a power point on an external wall going out to the alfresco. I'm sure if you find a good electrician they would be able to do it. Though it might end up costing just as much to do it after handover, electricians are not cheap. |
