Do you want to give us some tip on how to get an appointment. Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 414Oct 14, 2014 10:30 am Hi Guys, Just reading on some of those who have missed out. The demand is very high. I was very lucky and successful in Julys release. I have cable internet and I was also logged in my phone as well. I dont know which one went first but having those helped me secure a appoinment and getting my second choice pick. Forum seems very quiet and being very competitive. (I can talk now after I secured one. lol ) Good Luck! Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 416Oct 14, 2014 12:43 pm Guys, I don't think it has anything to do with Cable or ADSL internet. It is just pure luck! I wasn't successful for last release & this time I didn't do anything different. Probably I wasn't that keen this time as I'm looking to sell this down the track Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 417Oct 14, 2014 2:09 pm missed the wagon as well.. this whole process made me wonder what's the "genuine" criteria behind Stockland's buyer selection shortlist, as most potential buyers were diligently followed the registration process, clicked the rego button within seconds (if not nano-seconds) after it became available, but still unsuccessful to reserve any appointment spot with no idea why.. wonder if sorted by submission time or known person by sales person or kept trying/participated in previous releases or "other factors".. Any input? having ultra-super-duper fast connection may not be factors coz it seems like there are other "x" factors.. more transparency of fairness is much appreciated Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 418Oct 14, 2014 6:24 pm @timhobart, I was thinking that too... Or that survey we filled out had A LOT to do with priority? Maybe camping out like how Greenway allocated their priority numbers would've given everyone a fair chance of getting an appointment - and that way you can actually see with your own eyes =s Re: Stockland Elara at Marsden Park 420Oct 15, 2014 11:19 pm Only the Stockland Elara Project Team would know the selection criteria for choosing who to call for a Sales Appointment. However, there are two items worth noting in their Terms and Conditions and these are as follows: "4. Stockland reserves the right to allocate appointments as it sees fit." "10. Any attempted or actual multiple registration, bulk registration, interference with or manipulation of any aspect of the online registration in any way will result in automatic disqualification of the participant from the registration process (and any future registration or land release process). Stockland reserves all of its rights to take whatever action it deems appropriate in response to interference with or manipulation of any aspect of the online registration." There may or may not be an "x" factor and this can only be within T&C 4 above. I know of first time clickers and 3 time clickers who were successful. My thinking is that appointments are scheduled based upon time of response and ideal land size. Therefore the survey response would have been a vital factor. I can only speculate but this may be the process: 1. Group registrants according to land size range as per survey response. 2. Order each group according to time of response. 3. Call the registrant from each group in order of least land size number to greatest (e.g. 300-350sqm 13 lots, 351-400sqm 14 lots, 401-450sqm 4 lots, 451-500sqm 8 lots). 401-450sqm group is called first then 451-500sqm group and so on. 4. Continue step 3 until Sales Appointments have been fully allocated. Finally, it may be just pure luck as earlier posted here. The http://www.landcom.com.au/places/the-po ... rview.aspx seems to have a fairer process. You can also compare the prices of the Elara packages here http://www.masterton.com.au/HomeLand/Ho ... kages.aspx with the forthcoming release being made available for viewing by Greenway Living on 18th October 2014. @sanremo: PM'ed you. |
