We almost went for the same house as you, it's a great design, can't wait to see your changes, if any. We're almost neighbours, we're building in the last stage of Lexia Hi John + Ash?, What design did you go for in the end? How are you finding the area? So many people pull a face when I say we are building in Ellenbrook! Just caught up on your thread, for some reason I haven't been getting the notifications. Great to see its all going so well for you, we have our PCI on Wednesday and should have keys no later than the following Wednesday!! We built with HGWA, based our plan on the Bordeaux. I know what you mean about people pulliing faces etc about Ellenbrook, they thinks it's too far out with no deasent public transport. We have lived there for 7 years and love the area, wineries on the doorstep, only 30 mins to the beaches and City. To be honest, I hope they never get a rail link, as convenient as it may be it will bring more crime and we definately don;t want that. Oh yeah CONSLABULATIONS Re: New Generation Homes - Annie's Landing - SLABBED! 47Jul 19, 2014 11:53 pm congratulations on the slab! you will find things moving quickly now! Re: New Generation Homes - Annie's Landing - SLABBED! 49Jul 20, 2014 10:14 pm Thanks everyone. I'm still a little shocked by it all, it's all happening so fast. It's supposed to take 22 weeks from here - that would be before Xmas. I won't be holding my breath though! tsmith Congrats! Just a question, I know New Gen are basically Summit... but why is there a summit sign and not a new gen one? I don't know, I think all the site supervisors are from Summit and so oversee both. I know the sales people often wear Summit shirts too. Guess it's just because that are all part of the same group. Are you planning to engage an independent inspector also ? AB No I think we trust them enough. How's it all coming along for you? We've had bricks and frames for over a week, but have been told that brickwork won't start for three weeks yet. They must be very confident in the times for the rest of the build.
