Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 09, 2014 11:48 am Hi, My AC contractor need a hole on the back side of wall to through a duct. My builder cut one for him. But builder did not use any lintel or anything else to support the weight from above. I asked my builder, he said it is not necessary to support above weight for this size of hole. is it right? I feel it is so strange nothing to support on the top end. The hole is about 2 bricks wide( 460mm) on brick veneer. there is no any weight loading at the above position of the hole. http://s1240.photobucket.com/user/pengr ... a.jpg.html http://s1240.photobucket.com/user/pengr ... b.jpg.html Anybody know any good and reasonably priced Air conditioning contractors/companies that could install a ducted air conditioning system in the Central Coast NSW for a small… 0 8994 DIY, Home Maintenance & Repair Hi everyone Question about Brevis gas heating undergound - was recently installed by previous owners (<1 year old) but live in a relatively large house - 4 bdr - and only… 0 1673 I know foam has been around since the 90's and CSR started manufacturing Hebel in 1989, so it's definitely possible 5 5447 |
