Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 08, 2014 7:35 pm Hello, I have recently purchased land and the land has a building envelope and it sits over a no effluent disposal section, like so: http://i.imgur.com/OXsUYBJ.jpg Based on research I am pretty sure I know this answer but I'll make sure and ask, I can only build the house on the building envelope and cannot go over the area set aside for it? This pretty much negates my options for a wider house, right? Also, I want to have a run built for my dog, does that have to be in the building envelope or, because it is not a permanent fixture (it's just going to be a big cage) does it have to be on the envelope or not? Thanks Re: Building envelope 2Jun 03, 2014 4:55 pm Have you had any answers yet? If not, the developer should answer your questions directly, perhaps in conjunction with the council. I guess the dog run is another question for the council as well. Council rules change from place to place and from state to state. Even if it's not being sub-divided and you want to keep it as Torrens title, you will still need to talk to a town planner or Council themselves, to see if they will allow… 1 11469 Not unless you have managed to put it as a special condition into the contract somehow. 1 6397 I do enjoy the drama:-D In his latest two videos he has started bringing security guards to site, I am waiting for the punch on to begin lol 6 46017 |
