I think we should come close to Christmas. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 903Apr 22, 2015 7:00 pm I am hoping before Christmas. I thought it takes up to 8 weeks for builders to get there plans through council then to start the build, then no work in December over Christmas break. Doesn't leave to long in the middle. Fingers crossed. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 904Apr 22, 2015 8:22 pm Mat87, that generally may by the rule for paperwork through council, around 8 weeks, but I believe these days paperwork can be submitted through CDC which can be quicker than the 8 week process. Fingers crossed for all of us that our builds commence without too much delay. On the upside, we are nearly there and hopefully time will fly! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 906Apr 22, 2015 8:36 pm Mat87 I hope so to, has been a long time waiting. What does CDC stand for? Hopefully the builder go the quickest way. CDC means a complying development certificate and this can be approved by a private certified meaning approval does not need to go through council, that way eradicating longer wait times. Apparently if you have a straight forward plan, these days house plans can be submitted through CDC. Best of luck to all who will be commencing builds in the near future. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 907Apr 22, 2015 8:38 pm Sorry Mat87, I meant to type private certified in the above post (not private certified). Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 908Apr 22, 2015 8:40 pm Oops, damn typo again, should read private certifier. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 909Apr 22, 2015 8:44 pm That's fantastic, I just don't understand why Greg told me not this week only yesterday. However I am super glad it is. It's not impossible to be in by Christmas but I just keep telling myself jan/feb so I don't get my hopes up. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 910Apr 22, 2015 8:50 pm I know what you mean Riversidedreamin, I was frustrated as well when Greg told me the same thing. The only thing I could think of is that he was probably sick and tired of all of us hassling him, but that's the nature of the industry! Anyway all good and Cornish have delivered what they have said this week, so great news for us all. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 911Apr 22, 2015 8:59 pm Congratulations! One step closer in the whole process which must be a relief. Well deserved and hopefully all is smooth from here on in as you travel towards registration. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 916Apr 23, 2015 3:55 pm Maybe we will get the email once Cornish sign off on the certificates and just before they lodge it to the LPI? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 920Apr 23, 2015 5:16 pm That sounds about right kblume. It would be awesome if the certificates are signed by Cornish and the bank by tomorrow and then off to LPI by Monday. So it looks like we finally have some movement on site! Definitely later than expected, but I'll take any progress at this point.
