I feel your pain Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 823Apr 14, 2015 9:38 am Both my husband and I agree. Give them til Monday and if the same run around take it to the next level Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 824Apr 14, 2015 4:40 pm Sorry but I don't understand why you guys are "LOL"? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 825Apr 14, 2015 9:48 pm Well guess what hubby had phone call from Bret Cornish this morning advising him that he is aware of our anger, comments and that we may contact ACA on our forums. Either he is a member of this group or has joined the homeone forum and can see our comments there. He said it was not Cornish’s fault as they have submitted all paperwork to council as they requested. He would like this to be finalised as he is awaiting payment on land. Basically said if you go to ACA you are tarnishing my company name as well. Can you please wait another 2-3 days and not contact ACA as we hope all will be processed!!!!! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 826Apr 14, 2015 11:21 pm Don't mean to sound harsh but that is the most pathetic thing I have ever heard. It seems the main man himself has stooped pretty low this time...and it's strange he doesn't realise that he has no reputation, of course he wouldn't want further attention. Did he explain in the conversation why it had already been a year overdue? Did he empathise with the ongoing costs associated with the lack of registration endured by all his clients? It sounds like he's running scared...what a joke! If it's all already registered and you can start with your builders by Friday then yeah, worth waiting 2-3 days...but what was said to assure you this has already occurred? Brett Cornish doesn't just call random people pleading for understanding...this has been going on for years and he doesn't seem to know left from right when it comes to dealing with paying clients. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 827Apr 14, 2015 11:38 pm Hi guys, I stumbled across your page and was deeply saddened to hear the same old stories about people facing huge delays with receiving their land from Cornish Group. Definitely think Brett calling people is interesting. In the past he hasn't seemed to care about people's situations but all I know is once stage 33 went to ACA we got our land very quickly. With the Cornish group it seems to be the same lie after lie... everything is councils fault and all council do is hold everyone up. In our situation it couldn't have been further from the truth. I hope the delays do not continue for you guys but I really hope if they do people start to realise that Cornish's word means nothing. Them saying they can see your comments, who cares? We have heard this line before also...You have to stand up for yourselves and don't let pressure from certain parties silence you! If after all of these years it was the council or something else holding them up, don't you think Cornish would have sought action against these parties? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 828Apr 14, 2015 11:55 pm Valid point springy - it is very suspicious that a company which has been given let offs by the council and has never paid them any taxes for the development continues to blame the council! The council have seemingly done the right thing by residents by going against policy to allow Cornish Group to continue without paying any section 94 fees which are compulsory! That's just like any one of us saying no, we don't want to pay rates because we don't like that they've gone up! How selfish and futile. It's so frustrating for people trying to plan their lives but just fall into the trap of the developer of wasting away precious time and money while they stuff around delaying stages...and blatantly lie about progress to appear as though they are doing everything they possibly can. Will be interesting to see if Mr Cornish makes any other phone calls - a massive sign of weakness and the same old bully tactics! Will be interesting to see if the next stages after 40-44 will register in the next six months...they're still just a dirt mound with more potential heartbreak to come. When will the misleading information and pathetic excuses stop?! If ACA isn't contacted now, there will no doubt be many more opportunities with future stages...keep that phone handy Brett! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 829Apr 15, 2015 7:28 am Springy and riverside_24 you both need to join the facebook page.. the stupid things that come out of peoples mouths on their posts really aggravates me. They don't understand we are getting played exactly how the other releases have. Riverside_24 you are right he is just thinking of his company name, esp because i think there is another release happening. we need this sorted Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 830Apr 15, 2015 8:13 am Parkview_rs a new group has been made, feel free to join Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 831Apr 15, 2015 9:13 am So does anyone know exactly how long its all going to be with council before it goes to LPI? At least once its with LPI we know it will only 2 - 4 weeks then finally ours, just depends how long it takes to get there. Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 832Apr 15, 2015 10:24 am Well that's the golden question Mat87. Conflicting information being told. Firstly, on 01/04 was told by council awaiting further information from Cornish which Person at council thought Cornish will provide quickly. He also stated subdivision certificates are very close to being signed off, however a definite date cannot be provided. He also stated that due to the short week (the Easter long weekend) would have a slight impact so therefore, certificates should be released week after that, which should have been by this time. Brett Cornish was advised of what council had said and he clearly stated that all relevant paperwork was submitted. The latest now is that Brett Cornish spoke to council and they should release the certificates by the end of this week. So really, who knows. Your guess is as good as mine! Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 835Apr 15, 2015 12:52 pm 255 days!!!! are you joking me? Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 836Apr 15, 2015 1:08 pm And it's only been around 540-550 days since we put our deposit down up_springfarm_creek without a paddle Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 839Apr 15, 2015 2:25 pm we were October 2013 Mat so you're about 60 days more then us up_springfarm_creek without a paddle Re: Spring Farm Riverside *Stage 42 - Ridgeview* 840Apr 15, 2015 2:52 pm OMG Mat 87 August 2013 you have been waiting for 20 months, that is ludicrous! What stage did you deposit in? So it looks like we finally have some movement on site! Definitely later than expected, but I'll take any progress at this point.
