Your house is coming along well. The brickwork looks so neat, and if you're lucky you might have a roof for Xmas!! Have you been down to check it out yet? Re: Southwest build with WACB 31Dec 14, 2014 7:42 am Hi Rache, We still haven't had a chance to get down and check it out!! One more month til we get to finally have a look. We are hoping the roof is on by the time we get there. Its hard not being able to just visit the house whenever we want!! Can't wait to see it Re: Southwest build with WACB 32Dec 20, 2014 9:22 am Roof went on a couple of days ago Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ [/URL] That's the Augusta limestone bricks with the Surfmist roof. We've been told all the plaster, render etc should be done by the 10th of Jan Re: Southwest build with WACB 34Dec 29, 2014 6:05 pm Hi Newbuild14, we built with WACB and moved in during June hols. We were very happy with the build and our sales rep was fantastically helpful all the way through! Posted to follow. Re: Southwest build with WACB 35Dec 30, 2014 9:10 pm Hi Treeseachanger, It's good to see another happy WACB customer. I looked around and found mixed reviews but so far I've been more then happy with everything and I think they may even be ahead of schedule! We're hoping to get handover by May. Re: Southwest build with WACB 36Dec 30, 2014 9:37 pm Maybe I am a bit cynical, but I always question the authenticity of reviews on line, but there is honesty on this forum. Re: Southwest build with WACB 37Dec 30, 2014 10:21 pm Wow nb! Your house is looking fantastic! And so good that everything is going smoothly so far! Lets hope they keep it up for you. Re: Southwest build with WACB 38Dec 31, 2014 7:37 pm Hey Rache, So far so good. We had one hiccup along the way (concreters put the slab in the wrong spot) It's now dropped my main side access to 2.5metres instead of 3.0m but WACB were great in sorting the issue out. Under 3 weeks until we get to see it for ourselves! Re: Southwest build with WACB 39Jan 01, 2015 2:50 am newbuild14 Hey Rache, So far so good. Seriously!!:-):-) Re: Southwest build with WACB 40Jan 01, 2015 9:36 am Oh gosh someone didn't look at the plans.....Yay for seeing it all in person, you should have some more progress by then... brickwork started? fingers crossed Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17516 thank you! do we need to get this or our builder before we commence new build on the block? 2 10404 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9559 |
