Only piece of advice I could give is to way overestimate how much the retaining will cost you. Seems to sting a lot of people. I will be happy never to hear the words retaining wall again haha. As far as structural warranty goes I'm not sure. In the end is there much difference once you're beyond 10 years? I'm not sure there would be (surely a major structural problem would declare itself by then??), but I'm no expert. Hey !! What stage are you at with your house ? Yeah we are trying to find out with builders as to how much will the retaining wall cost. Also, not sure about the soil type if its H1 or H2 ..The developer just said H Type. That would also add to the cost, but not sure how much. Does anyone have an idea ? Will be talking to the builders during the week to find out how much they will charge for that.
