Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 242Oct 14, 2015 8:06 am Our Brickwork has started finally..Good to see some progress. I did see slabs being poured out in some of sparrow street houses.. How's everyone else going? Have all the Kensington people got their keys ? Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 243Oct 14, 2015 8:53 am That's great... I did speak to one of the supervisors and he did mention that they have a number of bricklayers working with them now so they hope to get through the bricking in a timely manner... Our frames were put up .. And we are waiting for the roof to go in this week... After that we should be ready for bricks too ... Exciting to see it take shape but xmas break is going to slow things down:( Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 244Oct 22, 2015 4:23 pm The rain continues to play spoilsport Spoke to someone whose home is completed on Kensington park road and they were happy with finish and quality light at end of the tunnel it seems... I think most homes have started now... Anyone still facing any major delays? How ur slab going bits ? Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 245Oct 26, 2015 1:10 am Hi mayjong, yes our slab finally was poured on Wednesday last week (it's a start lol!). We are however very happy with our new site supervisor, he is in regular contact with us and keeping us updated. As long as we have him on board for the whole build things should move forward without issues. The developer who owns the blocks behind us and our neighbour's block has commenced construction, thinking probably a double storey (Code Constructions) they have built a few homes around the Bellriver display at the bottom of the development. Here's hoping the rain holds out so everyone see's some good progress on their homes Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 246Oct 28, 2015 8:08 pm We are on Liam St and still waiting on our slab. The most recent update was that it would be done by the end of this month however haven't heard anything recently from our site supervisor and its only days away. Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 247Nov 03, 2015 10:00 am Anyone else received their Council rates notice for the land? I would have thought rates would start being paid once you actually occupy a home on the block? Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 248Nov 03, 2015 12:33 pm Hello guys, I am a new customer to bellriver homes in Edmondson park. Its a house $ land package. I have a colour selection appointment next week. I was wondering if i can swap around the location of my electrical options (such as light point & single gpo) without adding one or paying extra??? If any one has experience of dealing with colour selection appointment please share your ideas.. Thanks in advance.. Arp Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 250Nov 04, 2015 6:51 pm Hi casey Thank you for your reply. I want to ask few more things about the selection appointment options hoping you have already attended one. Do You have any idea about the price they charge on changing the electric top to gas and installing security alarm? Do they charge extra to change colour bond to tile? Cause i heard they do, though usually tile are more cheaper Do they charge extra if i wished to make small changes in the layout of the room or house? sorry to bother. Please answer only if you have any experience regarding this. Regards, Arp Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 251Nov 05, 2015 7:00 am Hi Arp, Yes I attended my colour selection last week.. I am still actually waiting on my list with all the upgrades I have chosen and the price for each but I will answer the best I can... So the upgrade to gas I think is roughly around 300-400 dollars from what I was originally told. I am not sure about an alarm as I didn't look into that option. To change the roof from.colour bond to tile it is about 5000 dollars as tiles is more expensive. Depends what layout changes you wish to make.. If you are moving walls etc then I would imagine yes, but someone else on the thread may be able to give you more insight that are further in the build. I hope that helps. Casey Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 252Nov 05, 2015 7:55 am Hi Arp, My advice to you is to go to your selections appointment prepared with what changes/upgrades you may want to make. What they'll do after your appointment is send you a quote for all the upgrades you've asked for and then it's your decision to simply approve or decline. My experience was really good as my consultant provided good advice on things my partner and I were struggling to agree on to make a decision. This will most likely not be your only colour selection appointment. I had 3 appointments because I wanted to change colours and add other things along the way etc. Also have a budget! Although I found that this can be easily blown over but it'll help you when making decisions on approving and declining upgrades. Hope this helps! Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 253Nov 05, 2015 9:14 pm Guys, interesting to see the reviews on Bellriver. We have recently withdrawn from a home and land project in Schofields and after a bit of research we believe its the best decision we had ever taken. Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 255Nov 06, 2015 10:14 am Hi Sparrow2015, We had received this last month and we have to pay from the time the land gets settled. We then called council to ask as to how much we had to pay.Hope this helps. Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 257Nov 25, 2015 10:22 pm Looks like some homes along Westminster will be handed over before Christmas, anyone on here in that lucky bunch? How is everyone's build going? Our brickwork was completed on Monday and looks like our roof is going on tomorrow, we are finally moving in the right direction, thanks to our great Site Supervisor. Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 258Nov 26, 2015 7:40 am That's great bits... You seem to have come far very quickly... Our roof and brickwork has been completed.. They are currently doing electricals... Still a lot of work needs to be done but moving in the right direction. Can't wait for the internals to start.... Re: Who is building with Bell River Homes in Schofields NSW? 260Dec 03, 2015 4:20 am Hi! Has anyone been in similar situation? Is it normal? What should we do to protect ourselves? We bought H&L from Bell River on Alex Ave. Sunset date is 31 December 2015. The land was registered on 16/11/2015. But no settlement is scheduled. It turns out that the land is registered on the wrong vendor, not the one that we signed the contract with. I called our solicitor. They said that according to vendor's solicitor they are in the process of name correction on the title, that they will need one week to submit it (this was week ago). I called vendors solicitor, they told me that they really are. I called LPI but they did not find any lodgements neither about the name corrections nor about transfer. So I called vendors solicitor again and asked to provide me with the lodgement number that would prove that they are actually fixing the issue with the registration. They couldn't and admitted that there was nothing lodged to fix it and that they are going to move the sunset date. Are we getting fooled? Land is registered, folios created, but no settlement. We bought land in Tallawong Schofields NSW size 30m X 12.5m and planning to get double story house build around 350 sqm. We are thinking about having premium inclusions… 0 4119 No idea about the driveway question, but your price for a house that size including landscaping seems very good! 1 6195 Hi all, We are considering Enigma 46 from Mojo Homes in Gables, NSW. Has anyone built with Mojo and any pointers and feedback. Also, if anyone has built similar design… 0 13204 |
