Agree..but this one wasn't even a ready built That's the reason we are even more surprised ! Like 2 - 2.5 months for a big 25-28 square house.. Ha ha I think it is ! Didn't notice a gap of 200mm from the boundary of the garage eventhough there are houses both sides...hmmmm...we were told there is no way we can have a garage sitting on the boundary..there are 4 other Henley houses in the street..all being the same with garage 200mm off the boundary... There is so much fluff in this industry it's really hard to trust these builders !! Thank god I found this forum !! My next door neighbour has built with carlisle, and his garage is right on boundary. Don't know why henley had to waste 200 mm of our land sitting in between garages. Any how im glad its over now. And i have posted pictures of some diy's i have done in last few days. Re: Henley Homes 1708Aug 27, 2015 9:43 pm Our site costs were higher with Henley when compared to other builders (Carlisle, Boutique n some more) but the good thing is that it didn't change at Tender or Contract signing... Also they were providing a raft slab over waffle slab ! I was also surprised at how Carlisle suddenly dropped their site costs by 3k as soon as we told them we are proceeding with Henley Our Build Thread - http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76750 Build thread of our Monaco Lux Q1 - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76750 Update: Handover - 2 Sep Re: Henley Homes 1710Aug 28, 2015 5:49 pm Has anyone installed a security alarm system with Henley ? They are called pet friendly PIR (sensors). They can be changed anytime later on. Also there is no need for dog to wear a collar. They have different way to identify an object a burglar or pet. They create zones like entrapment movie and ignore moving objects to a certain mass. These sensors are also good to run robot vacuum in your absence while alarm system left on. It won't set off alarm for robot vacuum. Re: Henley Homes 1720Aug 29, 2015 9:16 pm confused_fhb_2015 snyde $1,100 isn't bad at all! Are you going to be getting CCTV too? There are many ways both can be setup, not difficult task at all. Hi, If you give a set of criteria as to what means 'good' to you, it'll give others prompts to respond.
