Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 14, 2014 9:53 pm Hello my name is Steve & my wife is called Sandra, we are originally from the UK, but now live in Perth WA. We are looking at land in Alkimos, waiting on a block 17m front by 30m long, it was sold once then returned to the market, the developer is having it revalued as prices have increased. The house must be a minimum of 3m from the property boundary at the front, we want a large pool at the rear & estimate we need around 8m from the house to the rear fence. We have settled on a design by Homegroup WA called the Milan, it's a bit bug for our block so we asked the designers to extend the width of the house & reduce the depth. This is the design they came back with for us & the original design. This forum is a brilliant resource & we have a lot more reading to do. HD Re: Hello everyone, about to start the new build process, co 2Apr 14, 2014 10:20 pm Hi and welcome. Each builder is different and has different rules. You might be able to supply your own appliances, but not the whole kitchen. You could put in a very basic kitchen and the replace it after handover. Just the way it is. 1 8702 I apologise for any confusion, but your understanding is correct. We approached our situation differently based on advice from… 11 53177 Thanks very much!
