Re: Homestart-Providence- LOCKUP :) :) 246Feb 11, 2015 12:24 am Well what a great week The day after lockup (wed) we had the plumber through doing all the drain thingies (I am SOOO technical ) He also installed the bath, toilet roll holders, laundry tub and towel rails. The shelving was completed in all robes and linen also. Thursday saw the tiles delivered (I just want to touch them haha) Friday there was a first paint coat on the gutters, fascias, eaves and Alfresco & Garage Ceiling Saturday was pretty cool, took a drive past after Ballet and whaaaa??? Our front door was white Got out and realised all doors, doorframes, ceilings and cornices were painted (first coat I presume) Yesterday (Mon) we had our Grano poured Nothing today other than the skip bin getting swapped out but I called the cabinet makers to ask a few things regarding post handover options and sneakily found out the cabinets are due to be installed tomorrow or the next day WOOHOO I also contacted F&D regarding Aircon so just waiting for them to send me prelim plans and upgrade options (Of course I have photos of everything, just haven't had a chance to label them ) My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: Homestart-Providence- LOCKUP :) :) 247Feb 11, 2015 9:46 am Woah!!!!! Re: Homestart-Providence- Tiling has begun :) 258Feb 21, 2015 12:19 am Floor tiles are Anthricite and wall tieles are Flute Black (from Crosbys) We went with Gunmetal grey grout instead of black Actually I worked out today we have 5different grout colours Gunmetal grey in bathrooms/toilets, Dark grey for laundry floor tiles, white for laundry skirting, black for kitchen splashback tiles and grey for main floor tiles hahaha!!
