Hope that the sparky turns up and you get you inspection date real soon, I am sticking with what I said before.....you're definitely gonna be in before Xmas... WOOHOO, I'm gonna be in before Xmas in July even Swung past yesterday and the carpet guys were there just finishing up so got to have a very quick wander through and check it out. I do so love the colour and love love how everything has come together Had a closer look at the sink and it is definitely in the wrong place so no idea what I am going to do about that They've also finally done a site clean (not just out the front) so all the crap strewn through our back yard and along the sides is now gone Couldn't get to the kids rooms as they were vacuuming but I did get quick pics of the carpet in the Main bedroom, shower screen & Mirror from the ensuite and some close up pics of the splashback Oooh and here's my Garage Door - http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h140/vetty19/House/cbfe0c2824d4d227fe2863eeac2a4e6a_zpsv6jlmzik.jpg Shower Screen & Mirror - http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h140/vetty19/House/3534ed8c9c2ec5eaa6e9171450b5c6ea_zpsc31lh6id.jpg Close up of Splashback tiles - http://i63.photobucket.com/albums/h140/vetty19/House/798bda9b9b55a6ab4fe755a327e08b94_zpsebbkk22j.jpg And the lovely very thin grout lines in the splashback (so so happy with how close the tiles are ) Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ My beautiful carpet - Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Still waiting on the elusive electrician but really really crossing our fingers he turns up sometime today and gets all his crap finished by tomorrow without leaving sh!t all over our lovely carpet. Im looking at BSP for the building inspector? Sorry Kdolls, I almost forgot you Window treatment was included in our package, we specifically wanted a 'turnkey' house so we didn't have to worry about anything other than the backyard when we got the keys We're just getting standard venetian blinds for now until I can save my pennies for plantation shutters We went with Jim's Building Inspections and are working with Gary Gordon, we are very happy with his professionalism and report thus far. In all honesty, as long as the Building Inspector is a reputable company/registered then you can't really go wrong, it all comes down to how you feel about who you go with My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: Homestart - Providence - Carpets are in!! 286Mar 28, 2015 12:24 am Love love the splashback!! BUT keeping the positive vibes going and believing it WILL happen ON TIME! The kids are so excited about getting the keys, my 7yo asked if we would get keys on a School day? I said it would be and he asked if he could have that day off so he could just relax in our new house When I told him he could as we would be moving all of our stuff in, he looked at me expectantly and said "so when we get our keys, we get to move in?" I said "Yeah buddy" and he jumped up and down, fist pumping the air exclaiming "How exciting" and gave me a big cuddle I'm not sure what he expected would happen when we got the keys but he is now thrilled we actually get to live there hahaha My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built |
