The roof guys even started before the brickies were completly finished !!Except plasterers....apparently ours left wking for the builder and they had to find a new one.... We are at lock up now...will keep you posted.... Re: Homestart - Providence- Still Waiting 12 Weeks on....... 159Oct 28, 2014 11:28 am 12 Weeks on and we're still waiting for brickies BUT..... I was advised yesterday FINALLY that we should have brickwork start end of this week, beginning of next, as soon as they have finished up the job they are currently on (Soooo.... I bet they are the team working on the house in the same street, as they are almost complete) As frustrating and annoying as the wait has been, Homestart have always come through when they've actually given dates so fingers crossed it's the same this time Ooh Ooh I did have a win I finally had enough of not getting an answer regarding the landscaping requirements and sent off a very nice succinct email stating that if she wasn't willing to work with me then please pass on details of a manager and lo and behold, within less than 30mins I had a variation come through crediting the debit charge and they are now going to complete ALL of the landscaping requirements at NO Cost to us I have no doubt that once the brickwork starts, the excitement will begin to grow yet again, particularly since most of the houses on the street who's slabs went down after ours are almost at lockup. I am just hoping hoping that once brickwork is done, everything moves at a nice fast pace. Hi everafter5, thanks for the info, fingers crossed, ours goes quicker after brickwork too Aimee, I noticed your roof timbers the other day (I have to admit to having a little cry as we still didn't have a date for brickies) BUT I am very excited for you and can't wait to walk through your house Has anybody noticed that 2 of the display homes are open already?? I am definitely going to go for a walk through them My build thread https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70655&p=1164017#p1164017 Our House is full of magical things patiently waiting for our Home to be built Re: Homestart - Providence- Still Waiting 12 Weeks on....... 160Oct 28, 2014 1:06 pm I really hope your brickies start at the end of this week for you!! 12 weeks of waiting must be awful!!!
