Just wondering if someone could tell us what is the usual /average cost of a bricklayer per thousand bricks. I have been quoted $800 per thousand and if we want any tiers on the front fence then they would be an extra $80 each on top. Also we have to provide the bricks. Does this sound reasonable - expensive ??? Cheers Rowan Re: Cost of Bricklayer 2May 22, 2008 10:12 pm Sounds reasonable to me. I've heard of $1.00 per brick, so 1k per 1,000.
I guess it depends on the size of the job also. A small job you'll be paying $1.00 a brick.
