My colleague is building his new home and he was advised to pay for sewer peg out. $840.
Reason being the builder require to have WaterBoard approval on his plan and for the plans to be stamped, the builder require a sewer peg out, which will tell them the exact positioning of the sewer as well as the depths.
From memory, when my house was built, I don't think I paid anything for this. Pretty sure it's the developer who will fork out the money.
Is this normal? or is he being tricked here?
