Was the heating ducts fix all done by Henly too?
Nope. They make you go through the people who installed it which was Dandy Air.

Any other recommendations ? And what did you replace your gloss kitchen panels with finally ??? Our Build Thread - http://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=76750 We went with Mode heating and cooling, our friends who live 2 streets away built same house as us and went with the same company. 2 different installers and both excellent jobs. We payed $4850 total with the upgraded larger vents etc but they even said they wouldn't do that price again as others were quoted well over $5000 for that unit to only 7 points If we didn't get such a good price we were going to go with a Breezeair unit. And if we had of been able to afford it we would have gone refrigerated AC Kitchen is now white gloss vinyl wrap Re: Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - The Eyrie Laurimar 663Feb 02, 2016 6:12 pm Got some tiles for the Alfresco yesterday. Got an absolute steal!!! Full pallet of 400 X 400 X 10 German Green Limestone tiles from a stone business on Gumtree for $200!!! That's about $1 a tile as there are 208 of them. I got $3200 worth of stone tile for $200!!! They retail for $16 a tile! Anyway here's how they look, sorry they're dusty as because they've been outside in their packs I washed one to see the full colour Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - The Eyrie Laurimar 664Feb 02, 2016 6:42 pm That's the bargain of the year already set! Looking forward to see your tiled alfresco. Re: Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - The Eyrie Laurimar 668Feb 07, 2016 10:09 am Yeah going to take a little longer to complete. Need to scrape and level the slab first as Henley left it with concrete clumps all k we it and it's got high and low spots all over it. Then I need to get a stone cutting wheel for angle grinder to cut the tiles then glue then grout then sealer hahahahaaa Re: Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - The Eyrie Laurimar 670Feb 07, 2016 5:43 pm hitman Yeah going to take a little longer to complete. I'm going to be a tank by the time all this heavy lifting is done Re: Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - The Eyrie Laurimar 672Feb 08, 2016 10:20 pm Welcome to the world of DIY Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - The Eyrie Laurimar 673Feb 18, 2016 7:41 pm Yeah DIY.... This house will be much nicer than our previous two as I'm doing all the work from a new slate, Precious houses were me ripping up/down/out some crappy thing and then fixing it and doing it properly. Re: Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - The Eyrie Laurimar 675Feb 18, 2016 9:48 pm Totally agreed. It took me some time to understand limitations of renovations in an old house. Sometimes it's just not worth keep spending money on old houses. Was that hard to get approved by the council? We are thinking of building this same house on a 14x32 block and Henley advised us we cant have eaves as its too close to the boundary. Would appreciate any advice you have. Re: Henley Monaco Nouveau Q1 - The Eyrie Laurimar 677Jun 05, 2016 7:58 pm We are on a 15m wide block but our garage is on the boundary. You need 1m of light space between your gutter and your neighbours gutter, if they haven't built yet and you get to site first then guess what.... They have to move their house. You can build this house on the boundary on the garage side and still be fine BCA wise. Not sure why Henley are saying no unless you're asking for 600mm eaves. Ours are 450mm. If it was me I'd be pushing them to put them in. IMO a house looks bad without eaves. I agree the house looks naked without eaves and will definitely be trying to push Henley to put them on. We took right on 4 hours and they bought us lunch. We had Dianne as our consultant and she was great. Few upgrades, we got spa, upgraded cooktop to a Bosch but have asked them to quote the 5 burner rather than the 6 burner they offer as the 6 has 2 wok burners I don't even own a wok, tried to get diamond crystal gloss cupboards but would have been double the cost of the crystal gloss!!
