Have a look at this kitchen. They used whisper white. I really like the calcutta marble.

Our project coordinator is on our case to choose the colour but I just don't see the rush since our slab hasn't even gone down Have a look at this kitchen. They used whisper white. Whisper white looks like a good colour in this kitchen, I like it. Re: Metricon Phoenix Adelaide - PAINTING AND TILES 1263Mar 21, 2015 4:15 pm I also wanted to ask what flooring you are using upstairs? We originally planned to carpet all of the upstairs (3 bedrooms, study nook and a lounge room) but I've seen pics of display houses where they've used laminate floor boards. I don't know how to upload a pic to show you. Re: Metricon Phoenix Adelaide - PAINTING AND TILES 1264Mar 21, 2015 4:51 pm Princess Jasmine I also wanted to ask what flooring you are using upstairs? I don't know how to upload a pic to show you. We are having carpet in all the rooms upstairs. Downstairs will be mostly the travertine, except for the front sitting room and study, which will also be carpeted. Timber could look nice but it may create too much noise with people walking upstairs? Decisions, decisions....have you chosen your carpet? Decisions, decisions....have you chosen your carpet? We have paid 30 per cent of the cost of our carpet. Ours is almost black with a speckle through it. We also upgraded to the thickest underlay and added insulation the floor to reduce noise. We had wool previously but have now decided to go with nylon and the colour we chose is a darker grey. I think those with kids think alike because we wanted to reduce noise as much as we could and hence the insulation and the thicker underlay also. The carpet place recommended that we dont go for wool because of the kids. Nylon is meant to be easier to maintain with messy kids. At this stage we are thinking the one on the far left : rich walnut. It should provide a nice contrast against the whisper white walls. We are having the same - rich walnut with whisper white walls. Its amazing how you are able to select colours at this stage! M don't allow it here in Sydney.
