Re: Double Story Build - Plaster and a gap in the tiles? 82Jul 07, 2014 1:26 pm twin_dad Mentone3850 Haha I have been packing ever since I started building .. But today was a huge progress .. 10 boxes just kitchen Cuboards alone.. Can't believe I accumulate so much over the years Also don't know about you but so hard packing with my 2 yr old boy being curious too !! Oh yeah. Having moved once into the "to be demolished house" we still have to move into rental and then into new. Our two year holds 'helped' lots and as for so much stuff after we had filled the 3x3m self storage and the 5x7m shed here on site we are determined to cull some before the next move. Btw both build threads look good and remember to keep a level head about the defects list. All new builds have problems (and not all get resolved) but the houses still stand and the owners are happy once you are in. Oh my... Moving that many times is hard work! especially with a family! Good luck at getting rid of some stuff... The problems is you might just need it or it has some sort of memory attached. Look I know the house is not going to fall down, and I know everything thing my inspector highlights does not necessarily need fixing. The part I don't like is being told it's done or fixed when it's not. Feeling a lot clammer now that some time has pasted! Have..... Stairs!!! No words, just pictures! Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Different from some of you. Mine are open where yours are enclosed (I am sure there is a better way of wording it). Its starting to feel like a house! Skirting and internal doors are hung. No cabinetry yet, but I am guess by the end of the week if not next. No major dramas! I am guessing once the cabinetry is in we are at fixout?? if not we must be close! Have any of you thought you picked something different at your colour appointments, but all the documentation states its something else? We didn't write all our decisions down. Tip for all the newbie write them down, as I am sure you will want to go back to them! I hope everyone's builds are going well, I'll catch up with them all tonight! Happy Building!
