Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Nov 05, 2019 6:10 pm Hi to all, I am building in North West Sydney ( 2 storey house) and is currently in bricklaying stage. It is also my first time to build so forgive me if this may sound naive. I have been going to the house every 3 days and notice that there are only 2 tradies doing the job. Literally speaking, only one person is doing the bricklaying, and another is in doing the sand and mortar. Is this normal? No wonder progress is really slow. 2 weeks have past and they havent finished one side of the ground floor. (30sq home). Builder is mid-level type of builder and dont think they produce more than 100 homes per year. Re: Shortage of tradies ?
