Attempts to find the perfect two course brick have led me to exploring bricks all over Australia (internet exploring that is). Why look so far? I just can't seem to find the right brick. We are looking to build a farmhouses estate style home and can't seem to find the right shade of brick. I'm after something a little more rustic looking, not white , not yellow, kind of caramel. I'm finding interstate companies (I.e. phg) seem to have 2 course bricks with loads more depth and character than what we have in Perth. I have now ventured to Geraldton brick. Has anyone used their bricks? They may be the financial compromise as shipping bricks from qld would be madness.
