It is looking very very nice. The colours really suit the setting Re: Double Storey timber framed home in Bedfordale 62Feb 01, 2015 10:57 pm Only just found your thread. Wow. Such a great place. I love the decking and cladding choices in particular. http://www.housebythewater.wordpress.com From blank block to new home in Mandurah, Western Australia. viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65564 Re: Double Storey timber framed home in Bedfordale 64Mar 11, 2015 5:13 pm No updates for a while, but plenty of progress. Gyrocking should be completed this week/early next week allowing the render to start and the internal staircase to be built. Also means we will finally be at lock up. As with everything so far, really happy with the workmanship of the gypos. Re: Double Storey timber framed home in Bedfordale 70Mar 31, 2015 10:55 pm Solid progress with external rendering now completed. Cabinetry and stair case substrate also looks complete and we got permission to do our scrub clearing and get the fencing underway. No photos as it was getting dark when we got up there to have a look. In theory 5 weeks left. Re: Double Storey timber framed home in Bedfordale 72Apr 01, 2015 9:15 pm Wow just caught up. Love the verandah posts. Your door is opening is making me question if we should have been considering the direction to open.... (I think ours for the other way) Interesting when builders think they should do a pre handover inspection! I would have thought paint would be needed... Unless you are doing that after handover? Re: Double Storey timber framed home in Bedfordale 78May 08, 2015 9:02 am Prehandover was to pick up anything's that may be an issue at handover. Great idea as there will be less to do post handover. Only major thing we picked up was the heated towel rail was in the way of a door (when fully open) by about 50mm. Rest touch up stuff. We are painting. Builders done the ceiling, doors, skirting, architraves and the stairwell (as it was way too high for me to do).
