Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Mar 14, 2014 8:30 am My land, at mt waverly, is a bit slope, with 3 meters fall. While most part of the land is quite flat acually, as there is an existing house there. Yet, volume builders don't like this kind of land anway.
I searched the forum and found some builders, but not all of them want to do the double storey job. Anyone can recommend some builder? Englehart builds luxury homes, Carter Grange has a good reputation too, and Botanic Homes might custom build as well. Or what you can do is driving around in MW and see those home that are currently being built, the builders normally would have their names and contact on the fence. We had a very difficult sloping block, they did an amazing job there and kept the cost down by split leveling the single story home. On two seperate slabs and overall result really happy with. They seem to be well accustomed to slopping sites. We are high on a hill and they fitted the house in well without the back where the block slopes steep, sticking out into the heavens. Plus they customise as well, we had many changes to the standard display home and they met our needs without any problems.
