Now waiting for Wisdom Homes to book in our appointments - the silence is deafening! Congratulations! I hope your Colour Appointments happen soon for you. We are only slightly ahead of you, they are busy preparing our CDC pack. I have a funny feeling that Wisdom will try and tie our two builds together as it would probably make scheduling easier for them as we are only one door away! Time to make a new Will now that we are landowners..... One more thing to add to the to do list! Now waiting for Wisdom Homes to book in our appointments - the silence is deafening! Congrats! The hardest part now is making your choices. My suggestion for those that haven't done something like this before is get ideas together before your colour appointment, clippings from magazines etc work well. That way the color specialist can work with something with you. As for us, we signed our contract with Rawson on Tuesday so it looks like well have an agreed start date of the 10th of Oct. We are Stage 3 and our builder has said that the Quick Check system came back with a 'No records Found' result. Therefore our application will now need to be assessed by an Accredited Water Service Coordinators (WSC) and a Sewer Peg Out or Works as Executed (WAE) Plan will need to be obtained in order to process our plans accordingly at a cost of $910 depending on what they find. On a happier note did you start on October 10th loop? It is such a long process we are finding! Fingers crossed we will get our Authority to Commence Construction from the bank next week. So that should be just in time for the Christmas Holiday block out period as advised by our builder! Anyone else start/close to starting construction in either stage 2/3? Re: Gardener's Ridge, North Kellyville 66Dec 13, 2014 7:14 am Yes we're finding the process much longer than we'd first anticipated but making progress now. Our plans were submitted to council this week so I'm hoping that we'll be underway by end of Feb which is when our contract states we need to start by. And no, we didn't get to start until the first week of December. We do have our slab down though, so that's a good thing. I see on the NBNCo map that it is available in your estate area and I'm curious as to the speeds you are getting? We're building over in the Blue Horizon Estate "next door" Paddington 29 @ Blue Horizon Estate (Lot 105, Wattleridge Crescent, North Kellyville) Our Build Progress Blog: http://light487.wordpress.com/ Re: Gardener's Ridge, North Kellyville 69May 05, 2015 4:41 pm Hi All We are building at lot 313 Willandra. We met some of our future neighbours on the weekend which was nice. We are just at Colours stage. We hope to be building before 26th August as our Tender also runs out. We were not told by MDJ Sales consultant before we paid our $3000 that they charge $1000 / month if we don't start before that time grrrr. We are building a single level. It appears we will be the only single on that side of the street. We also have to go via Baulkham Hills council due to our land having split zoning R2/E4, but I guess now we can push further to one side which is what we wanted. Anyone else go through Council, how long did it take for them to pass your plans ? Willy313 Re: Gardener's Ridge, North Kellyville 70May 05, 2015 7:45 pm Based on others I have seen, council can be around 6 to 8 weeks.. it's a long wait. We went via council and were only delayed by the Christmas blockout period of 2 weeks either side of 25/12. That aside, it only took us 4 weeks to get through council. MDJ are building plenty in the area so should have a good idea of current timings.
