This room is a tough one…..there are windows and doors all around the room. Is your staircase going to be open, so you see under the stairs? If not I would look at doing that wall a colour, kill 2 birds with the one stone……colour in your entry and the colour can be seen from the living and dining rooms. What colours do you like??? And what colour flooring are you having? Hi Michelle, Thanks for your reply. My floor will be bamboo in it's light colour. Thr stair will be a close one to cut heating bills. :^_^: So which wall can I use as a feature wall? Only upper stairs? Is there is no one upstairs, I'll give you upper floor plan to, it's no at hands. Feature walls – 1) Family Room- left wall on the plan, back of study wall. 2) Entry wall – right-hand side of plan. 3) Master bedroom – behind bed 4) Bedrooms 1,2 and 3 if you like – behind the beds. Not much room for one in the lounge/dining area. There’s no real wall space to use. You might have to use artwork for these areas to add colour. Plus cushions and rugs.
