We've just signed the preliminary contract, and it is very clear that variations from this point on do not have to be accepted by Metricon. We have the option of 7 free variations (including those for Studio M selections), after which we need to pay $500 / $1000 per variation depending on what we change. It's also strange that your contract is valid at the same price for so long. Ours has a clause that gives them and option to do a price review after 3 months.
