I know many hit stumbling blocks on the valuation of their house prices, but we've hit it with the land valuation when we've added the cost to build the house on top of loan. The valuer's report has come back valuing the land $20k less than what we paid for it... Has anyone experienced that before? Re: Plantation: Marlo 4 | Gold Coast - Land Valuation Less?! 54Jul 03, 2014 7:27 pm That's weird. Was there a valuation done on the land originally when you bought it? Or did you buy it cash or something? Build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65085 Re: Plantation: Marlo 4 | Gold Coast - Land Valuation Less?! 55Aug 01, 2014 11:48 am How's it all going TiredHalo? The valuer's report has come back valuing the land $20k less than what we paid for it... Has anyone experienced that before? We too had a valuation come under what ours was worth. The valuer admitted he had absolutely no idea about the area and its value but refused to change it. We then put up a fight and finally the bank allowed a secondary evaluation which came in at the contract price. It was a huge and massive headache!
