Congrats on the slab Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate, Caversham 42Jun 15, 2014 10:45 pm Congrats on the slab! Or should I say CONSLABULATIONS! How do you think the slab looks, did you think it makes the house look huge or small? I thought ours looked ginormous until they started building the walls then I thought it looked really small. Now the ceilings are in, it looks huge again! Yeah we think it looks pretty big. There are 3 other Celebrations houses being built in our street all with the slab down so it's cool to be able to compare it to them. Ours is definitely the biggest! We went and had morning tea on the slab this morning (a bit of a mini slab party!) and some of the scaffolding had been delivered, so we should see some bricks this week. Also It felt rushed, other people have had 5 or more hr appointments and it seemed like they got some good advice, where as when I asked what they thought, they said its up to me. I copied a display home, because i was having trouble choosing the colours I had been thinking of. But to be honest what i chose was just the best of the bunch, not something i loooved. I wish id just hired a colour consultant, or felt like i could ask at prestart to find colours that match, in the scheme i had in mind. In saying that, people in the company were SUPER helpful, patient and friendly when I made changes to my selections.
