I didn't get anything like this.. where you could visualise it. Also It felt rushed, other people have had 5 or more hr appointments and it seemed like they got some good advice, where as when I asked what they thought, they said its up to me. I copied a display home, because i was having trouble choosing the colours I had been thinking of. But to be honest what i chose was just the best of the bunch, not something i loooved. I wish id just hired a colour consultant, or felt like i could ask at prestart to find colours that match, in the scheme i had in mind. In saying that, people in the company were SUPER helpful, patient and friendly when I made changes to my selections. (just wish id also changed to something more similar my original external ideas! ) Yeah all these photos were taken in the selection centre when we had our pre-start. They only allowed 3 hours for our pre-starr and even that felt rushed. I would have loved a bit more time because we did forget quite a few things. Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate - BRICKS STARTED! 64Jul 17, 2014 2:58 pm Damn those bricks have gone up quickly. SO EXCITING for you Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate - BRICKS STARTED! 65Jul 17, 2014 7:41 pm What is the name of your carpet you chose? Im wondering if that the same as mine too! Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate - BRICKS STARTED! 66Jul 18, 2014 8:58 am Bingo18 bletchleybuild Hi there! You've chosen the same render colours and roof as me! I'm so nervous about the lundy! In some pics it looks a really different colour! Cant wait to see yours! Did you copy a show home? Are your Lundy and White Cliffs 100% mixes? Slab Party! Too funny! Our build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=71700 I'm a bit nervous about how it's going to turn out too! We did copy a display home - Celebration Homes 'Urban' in Clarkson Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ On the display home the White Cliffs and Lundy Grey are 100%, we wanted the lundy grey a bit darker so we've gone with 150%....i doubt we'll even notice a difference though! I did both 150% for Lundy and White Cliffs, I think it makes a difference in the Lundy, but not the white cliffs for me. If you want to see other houses with lundy/white cliffs (although only 100% mix I think) New Gen - Pebble Beach New Gen - Infinity Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate - BRICKS STARTED! 67Jul 18, 2014 9:00 am The Urban even looks as if it has evening haze fascia...that's exactly the same colours as Pebble Beach. Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate - BRICKS STARTED! 68Jul 21, 2014 10:16 pm Hows the brick work coming along now? I'm building with celebration in Mandurah and am waiting for bricking to start, my slab went down about 4 weeks ago. I'm desperate for them to get moving with it. My slab was meant to go down on 4th June but there was a problem with the site clearing, then they said the 10th june but they said they were catching up with down time from wet weather, then they said the 17th june but it was raining. It finally went down on the 23rd June. Today, after 3 weeks of asking about brick laying they said there is a shortage of brick layers and don't know when it will start Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate - BRICKS FINISHED! 69Jul 22, 2014 12:11 am The bricks have finished!! They finished last Thursday, which was 9 working days since they started. Amazing how quickly it happened! Hubby went and had a look over the weekend and says it looks great, but didn't take any photos! Not happy!! So i am dying to get out there and have a good look around, i'll post some pics once i've been! Hopefully they will sort it out and get started soon for you. It's funny, we are 1 of 4 Celebration Homes houses being built on our street. We were third to get our permit, then third to get our slab, then first to get our bricks laid. Now our brickies have moved to the next house, so by the time they get to the last house they would have been waiting a long time. They are probably telling those poor people the same as you - brick layer shortage! Fingers crossed, once they start yours it's nice and quick! I've had a quick look through my addenda and i can't find the name of the carpet? I do have a note that i scribbled down that says it is Quest carpet, Product - Bombora, Colour - Bindi. I'm sure that's right! Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate - BRICKS FINISHED! 72Jul 23, 2014 7:51 pm Bingo18 The bricks have finished!! I cant wait for the bricks to go up so I can get a real idea of the layout/size. It looks soooo small as a slab! Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate - BRICKS FINISHED! 73Jul 24, 2014 10:26 am Yeah I've been a bit miserable about it but it is what it is… they've said that hopefully they will be able to start 8th August (weather permitting…) I was really hopeful that we would be in by christmas but its looking so unlikely… Now that you have bricks, how do you like the feel of your future home? It must be very exciting to actually be able to walk around it! It's looking awesome, happy with everything so far, especially how fast they are going!! Some of the rooms look really small, but then others look huge! The games room looks massive, the kids are going to be pretty happy! Here's some pics... It must be very exciting to actually be able to walk around it! We are building in Lakelands, our slab went down on the 17th July (a week later than we were told). I actually contacted them last week, as i had seen people on their Facebook page saying they had been waiting 6-8 weeks for bricklayers, and I was told outright that I wouldn’t have a delay getting a bricky!!!! Hmmmmm, doubting that now! Think I’ll be sending another wee message enquiring when we are likely to be starting! Do they think people don’t talk to each other!!!!???? As a matter of interest, who is your CC? Re: Celebration Homes - Brookleigh Estate - ROOF STARTED! 77Jul 27, 2014 9:11 am it is so cool bingo18 you started way after us and you cough up with us. it is going fantastic.our roof is on and gutters are in waiting on electrician and plumber to finish all the fit out before i can have colour bond moment ! I emailed them today to find out if I'm still getting a bricklayer friday 8th August and was told its now looking like 11th August. Fingers crossed its not pushed back anymore...
