Browse Forums Building A New House Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 301Mar 02, 2015 1:35 pm The ergo is great! The Tula is a bit of a new craze I think. Another structured carrier. I'm still learning too. Might have to keep having more babies to learn more about the carriers Now, house stuff! We have handover next Tuesday!! It's been locked in. So what do I need to do to prepare!? My SS said I don't need to anything and he will just bring a checklist and we just walk through each room and I need to sign off that I'm happy or not or make some comment. But I feel like I need to maybe have a list of things to look out for or questions to ask?! Any tips? Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 302Mar 02, 2015 2:14 pm I've just bought an ergo might have to try it out with one of my small dogs lol Oh how exciting! I guess it's just looking over everything carefully, and don't be afraid to tell them if you aren't happy with something super excited for you Build thread http://tinyurl.com/llgc7yk Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 303Mar 25, 2015 11:17 am Hi Countryhome! I've just been reading through your thread and I love your house. Your kitchen is EXACTLY the look we want to achieve. I know you will have been really busy with handover and a small baby, but I would love to see handover photos when you have the time, especially of your kitchen! Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 305Mar 30, 2015 8:15 pm Hi guys. I've been so slack updating in here. Partly because I'm so busy (and exhausted) and partly because I feel a bit rude updating my own thread when I haven't been looking at other people's threads. But now you've asked, I'll pop some pics up So we had handover a few weeks back (I can't even remember! Lol) and moved in on Friday. It's so awesome to finally be in our beautiful home. So much more to do, but loving it already. We haven't put any pics up yet or decided on placing of furniture etc, so I'll post pics, but it's all pretty basic atm Entry Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ At end of entry, looking left over nib wall out to kitchen Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Standing at kitchen bench looking out towards living and dining Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Standing at tv looking back toward kitchen [ Kid's toy room Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Pantry Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ And all the other rooms still have ... Junk .. Everywhere (it took me about 4 goes to find a word that's not censored on here) so I won't post them! If you want I can post pics of them just before handover, but they just look like rooms. Hehe. We get our new bed suite delivered tomorrow so I will try and remember to take a pic of that once it's all prettied up. Thanks for asking after me. I do intend to come back and catch up on everyone's thread when I have more time. Maybe in 2016 Our build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69984 If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain.
