Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 283Feb 25, 2015 1:13 pm Treeseachanger Looking awesome! I'm searching for similar pendant lights, or more industrial look, are they an antique bronzey colour- or is it just my screen?? They do look a little like that in the pic. It must be the light. They're just a brushed chrome, they're from beacon lighting. Our build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69984 If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain. Yes, very happy with the wall colour. Just the right shade of grey without being too grey for me. Our build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69984 If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain. Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 286Feb 25, 2015 4:07 pm Looks great, love the pendants and the wall colour although it looks beige in the photo not grey My build thread: Custom build on 40 acres viewtopic.php?f=31&t=75656 Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 288Feb 25, 2015 6:19 pm It's come up so beautifully! Gosh that went quick! Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 291Feb 25, 2015 9:41 pm Next week! Yay. So when is pci or did I miss something? Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 292Feb 26, 2015 3:09 pm Haha, yeah a greige is probably more accurate. I didn't want to do beige but I'm a bit worried grey will be a fad that will date so tried to find an in betweeny colour. It's actually quite grey in some lights and much more beige in others. PCI isn't really a term I've heard them talk about tbh, but we will have the walk through one day next week and that's what the SS keeps calling handover, so I'm assuming we will go through a checklist then. I actually feel really unprepared for it all and am hoping the sS can be flexible with dates as I really don't want to be trying to do any sort of check list with a toddler underfoot (I can wear the baby in my carrier and she will be happy). Thanks for the lovely comments everyone! Our build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69984 If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain. Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 293Feb 27, 2015 3:42 am I think the blend works well, not too warm or too cold and the colours look like they balance out well. Yes I can't imagine trying to concentrate on an important thing like handover with a toddler adventuring around would be very easy! Lol have just started looking at the crazy world of baby carriers! Confusion abounds Build thread http://tinyurl.com/llgc7yk Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 294Feb 27, 2015 1:33 pm ^^ ooh! what brands are you looking at? I have an ergo and a Tula. I'm considering a ring sling too but I do like my structured carriers, so easy to use! Our build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=69984 If you want the rainbow, you gotta put up with the rain. The ergo baby comes the most highly recommended Build thread http://tinyurl.com/llgc7yk Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 298Feb 28, 2015 11:05 pm cat_dunc I have an ergo about to buy a hug a bub too for when the new bub is tiny. Some of my friends use the infant insert in the ergo - I've only looked at the ergo in person so far, so many options Build thread http://tinyurl.com/llgc7yk Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 299Feb 28, 2015 11:11 pm Bigblock7 cat_dunc I have an ergo about to buy a hug a bub too for when the new bub is tiny. So my winter baby might love it this time. Re: CountryHome's country build pg 13 tiling 300Feb 28, 2015 11:14 pm I was thinking the same thing mine will be a winter baby as well Build thread http://tinyurl.com/llgc7yk Thank you so much everyone. This all makes a lot of sense. I guess when you talk to a builder who butters up everything to look very polished, you get to start believing… 7 17517 thank you! do we need to get this or our builder before we commence new build on the block? 2 10404 Hi, did you get any money from insurance? if you did, does it match what you've already paid the builders? 3 9559 |
