Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 27, 2014 8:14 pm Hey everyone here is a modified floor plan myself and my partner are working on. The block is 450sq mtrs and the house faces west towards the ocean (Perth). Just got the plans today, not 100% on the big window on the top floor. Just wanted some feedback how i could improve the floor plan and the external look of the front, especially that top window part. Could you add a balcony where the window is to balance the look of the front? Re: Floor plan 3Feb 28, 2014 8:39 am Gorgeous plans! Could you remove the big window and just continue the smaller window? Re: Floor plan 7Feb 28, 2014 9:46 am Hi everyone thanks for your ideas. In relation to the window sizing i can adjust it accordingly. I had thought of either making the bigger window bigger ! or seeing if it was possible to continue the big window across which will add light into the walk in wardrobe upstairs which would be good. The other idea was making the small top window all the way across. At the moment the house looks like something out of Monsters Inc haha Flipping the downstair part is a great idea didn't even cross my mind !
