I can't wait to see it all come together. Love both pillow colours.. It will be a tough choice! Re: Aussie Living - AMBERTON - Painting 502May 09, 2015 1:59 am Hey Justin! Have just scrolled through your thread and had a lovely time of it! You've done duch a great job with all your selections and colours. The subways with the black grout look awesome and your black and white theme is very cool. I love me some red and reckon your cushions are gorgeous. Theatre room ones lovely too. Can i ask where you scored your outdoor lights from please....the ones you used for the eves outside your laundry? I have been desperately seeking some simple but lovable ones and i reckon yours are the best ive seen. Re: Aussie Living - AMBERTON - Painting 503May 09, 2015 7:59 pm So of course I went to the house again to water the tree! Front door wide open! But good on you for being so positive, I'm sure you'll get something much better in no time at all with your attitude Your garage door looks amazing it looks like a proper house now, doesn't it? Also like your pillow collections - especially like the 2nd one. And very jealous of the glazed internal doors! Re: Aussie Living - AMBERTON - Painting 507May 11, 2015 2:34 pm Garage door and internal paint, killing it! Looking forward to seeing my garage door go on and like Malsannie said, getting that "proper" house look Is that a Centurion door, Cosmopolitan design? If so its exactly what I'm getting haha! Pillows are cool, I like the style choices with the reds mixed in. Not sure what color I'll accessorize with yet but considering teal! First Build, Commodore Homes, Alkimos Beach. But at least you could get in I guess. I think we have a similar looking garage door ours is called 'Maddison' though for the design. I see you have done some shopping nice choice . I can only imagine how nice it would be to shop by yourself .he he . . Thank you Melsie! All good - keep visiting jlo1990 Love love love the red pillows! Nice bold colour! I dont think im brave enough to go red, im thinking either a pastel blue/green for the living area (swaying more towards green because of my painting though) Beautiful choices for both rooms though! I think I am scared of the Red too now. I did a pillow purchase on the weekend, I will organise some photos soon but have not had a chance yet. The pillows I got from Target and I purchased 2 with a "camera" on the front which is cool. I like pastel colours, I am sure it will look great! flickyrose Looooove the interior colour! Makes me feel at ease now that I know what it looks like. I can't wait to see it all come together. Love both pillow colours.. It will be a tough choice! Thank Flickyrose, I love the interior colour now. Went and had a sneak peak today. I think its just the right amount of dark! Rache Hey Justin! I have been desperately seeking some simple but lovable ones and i reckon yours are the best ive seen. Hey Rache - thanks re- Subway tiles. I love them so much, I do wish I asked for Thicker Grout but thats a little learn. I think it still looks great. I think I am scared to the red now, decided to stick to white/black/navy's haha! I bought my outdoor lights from Bunnings, so check out the buntings outdoor lights isle. The under eve one is a wall/ceiling light and it looks great! Let me know if you get them Pinkjam Went past your house today and seen the front door wide open and no cars there!.... Not good it was left like that Hi Pinkjam - yeah It wasn't ideal. I went back later and put a bucket behind it so it 'looked closed'. I hope they stop forgetting to lock it up as its getting to the pointy end where I don't want other people in there!!!! Are you building too Pinkjam? JnM The garage door color works well with the rest of the house. Having the front door left wide open would only be "too inviting", not a good idea. Yeah i didn't like the door open JnM! I am pretty excited that the garage door blends in that well. I want to see my gutters painted now so I can see the contrast!!!!!! MalSannie Justin I'm sorry to hear about the work thing - it must be so hard! But good on you for being so positive, I'm sure you'll get something much better in no time at all with your attitude Your garage door looks amazing it looks like a proper house now, doesn't it? Also like your pillow collections - especially like the 2nd one. And very jealous of the glazed internal doors! Thanks MalSannie - I am ok and things all fall into place when they need to!! It sure does look like a real house now. Some people would have had keys by now but as I am getting a turn key house I just have to wait a bit longer to get the rest finished. Glad you like the pillows and doors - I purchased some other pillows and want to go back and get some of the others from Masters! BS12 Garage door and internal paint, killing it! Yeah BS12, it is a Centurion Door I think we have chosen the EXACT same thing. We were probably twins separated at birth (although we are different ages) haha. I am so scared of the red I went into mega abort mode so no red. I think I will stick to colour in the artwork/vases/decor things that are not pillows. I like whites/blacks/navy/greys more! Teal would look good man - my parents have put some nice teal's as their main colours and it looks great! archetto No good the front door was left wide open! But at least you could get in I guess. I think we have a similar looking garage door ours is called 'Maddison' though for the design. Argh I know Archetto!!!! Don't get why it was left open. I do however like that out of everyone I know building I am still able to get in nearly every time. I love the garage door - can't wait to see yours! PCI DATE: TBA (Removed most of the list to save excess scrolling... so efficient haha) You've said a few times that I'm ahead of you, so much happening at mine etc etc and I never really believed it because each time I check your progress you've got internal painting, paving and seemingly something happening every day! I figure you were steaming ahead of me! However now that I check your list, I do tend to believe you when you say that we're on a similar timeline. Where you've got the above mentioned paving, garage door etc, you're still waiting on external paint, door handles, air con, flooring and things like that and I could almost say I'm the exact opposite with everything I just mentioned there haha. You're way ahead on the decorating front though haha. Its only just dawning on me that I really need to start looking at finishing items like lighting, cushions, rugs etc. Not necessary... but realistically yes it is necessary haha. Staying subscribed, here's hoping its a big progress week for both of us! The other Aussie home I've mentioned a few times, she got her blinds in pretty early so maybe that's coming up very soon for you as well as external paint? Re: Aussie Living - AMBERTON - Painting 517May 12, 2015 3:56 pm At least you won't have to book time off work for it how is the job hunt going?
