That mean technically (all going to plan) you'll have key handover in a month! YEAH! don't get me too exciting - they said "mid may" so I just picked that date. I want to be in the first week of June!! Re: Aussie Living - AMBERTON - Fly Screens 423May 01, 2015 8:30 pm Some nice news - so I left work today and thought bugger it I am going to call Aussie Living again and say that I understand if they are worried about the tree getting damaged but at the end of the day I am willing to take the risk as it may die in the ground anyway! They have come back and agreed to let me plant it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I asked them to follow up with an email so that I can reply and confirm that I am happy to take the risk! Aussie Living CL Further to our phone conversation I can confirm that we are willing to allow you to have the tree installed to your back yard however Aussie Living Homes takes no responsibility should the tree be damaged, die or go missing from site. We also request that the Tree is not installed in a location that will obstruct any further external works that need to be completed. Sunday is TREE PLANTING DAY! Whoop! Re: Aussie Living - AMBERTON - Fly Screens 424May 01, 2015 9:16 pm Power of positive thinking - you will be moving in first week of June - cause I said so! Yay for tree! Whoop! excited Re: Aussie Living - AMBERTON - Fly Screens 430May 02, 2015 10:46 pm Justin that all looks FANTASTIC! Wow what a difference a bit of cleaning makes your house will look amazing with all your lovely furniture and lights. Love the black and white tiles and surfaces and the paving! And we'll have a similar hot water system also Bosch Pity about the niggles - but as you say they'll get fixed for sure. Wonder how on earth the retaining wall got damaged? Looking forward to more photos and also of the tree - was a good decision to absolve them of responsibility so you would be allowed to plant it! Oh - and you've convinced me - tiles on sills do work. Went back to the house today and forgot to take one from the front haha! Oh well, next time! Re: Aussie Living - AMBERTON - Waiting 4 Paint to Begin 436May 03, 2015 11:01 pm Looking good! Not long now!! From experience when you get to PCI my one thing to look out for it the plaster job! we really aren't happy with ours, so messy around doors and windows. Not sure if they will fix it (I know our SS was reluctant to even fix some of the major plaster issues) but it is something to look out for!. Your kitchen is looking amazing!! I am very jealous of your corner pantry, it was on my wish list!! Though to help organise it I can recommend the pantry shelves at IKEA, I have been using them for everything lately! Re: Aussie Living - AMBERTON - Waiting 4 Paint to Begin 437May 03, 2015 11:22 pm Chromeo Hey Justin, from memory, were there not 4 trees to be planted? Nope Chromeo, I may have confused you as I screen shotted a "google maps" street view image of my parents neighbours to show all the tree's before they originally got planted. The one tree was later gifted to me by the new owners fmac Looking good! Not long now!! I have also informed them that my Home Theatre conduits are incorrect and have request them to fix this. I will get an update on all of this tomorrow which is great.
