Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 26, 2014 4:47 pm Hi I need some help & pics for my bathroom feature tile please! I have chosen the below tile with grey bench top & white cupboards. My problem is I would like the feature as a vertical strip ( not horizontal like the pic ). Does any one have suggestions on where to put the strip? 1 behind the basin OR 2 strips, 1 towards each end of the benchtop? The white tile will be laid horizontal (not vertical) also. Any pictures and suggestions would be a massive help! Re: Help with bathroom feature tile!! 11Feb 27, 2014 1:05 pm I had thought of framing the mirror like this pic, but with our builder the mirror is to go wall to wall & from tiles to ceiling, so I don't really have the option. I thought the vertical feature because we have it vertical in the shower & our ensuite so it would all match Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Help with bathroom feature tile!! 13Feb 27, 2014 1:35 pm mishl_123 I had thought of framing the mirror like this pic, but with our builder the mirror is to go wall to wall & from tiles to ceiling, so I don't really have the option. The shower is in a seperate room, if u know what I mean? So all white tiles is also a bit plain! I know, I'm fussy & difficult! Lol Re: Help with bathroom feature tile!! 15Feb 27, 2014 1:47 pm lol not fussy or difficult, you just like what you like, it must be a woman thing! building thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=65845 Re: Help with bathroom feature tile!! 16Feb 27, 2014 1:48 pm Haha I have seen a strip behind the basin but only when there is two basins. I'll ask my partner when he gets home for any ideas. I'm a bit stuck . Have you asked the tile shop they are pretty good . Idea of working from the centre is that you dont have a 20mm thin tile at one end and a 400mm at the other end.
