Hi, all! I would like to confirm what dudhatra posted. I was there with him and kaycee last Sunday morning. It is always good to meet new acquaintances. I apologize to Pora who also went to the sales office, but we did not had the chance to meet as you had left before we arrived.
In addition to what dudhatra posted, these are the things that stood out for me during the meeting:
1.) Kylie, sales rep of GL for this meeting, confirmed that the land registration will be moved from November to January 2015. Kylie will send out an email today, 22-Sep, to confirm this delay, to all homebuyers concerned once she gets approval from management regarding the content of her email.
2.) DA for different entities’approval will be lodged as early as tomorrow, 23-Sep. Different entities meaning Council approval, Endeavour Energy approval, water works approval, Land Titles approval. As per Kylie, these could take anywhere up to 8 weeks (even 12 weeks) considering and taking into account the queue for approval as there are also other estates seeking approval, plus the Christmas break.
3.) GL cannot influence builders in regards to the tender price increase for the building contracts. That means it is now a sure thing that a price increase will happen on your building price, unless your Builder says otherwise, or, by some miracle, land registration happens before Christmas.
dudhatra and Kaycee, you are more than welcome to correct the information above if there is any inaccuracy.
Am happy for the other homebuyers who are having a positive feedback from their Builders.
Anyone who wants to draw first blood with Champion Homes and ask what happens after the tender price contract date expires?
