I have spoken with cora , she said to refer to clause 44.4 in the building contract which says they charge 3.75% of the building contract if building isn't started 365 days from when the tender was signed

GL will have internal meeting and will decide next step. I think GL will also have meeting with all builders ragarding delay. I request her to push all builder for extending contracts by same period.. 6 weeks. But do not know whether builders will agree !!! We all should meet GL sales team and raise our voice... It doesn't really make sense, and i think a more logical pricing system should be 3.75% per annum (compounded daily or weekly) for the duration its over so you're not hit with one massive fee. On a completely unrelated note, I am surprised that you are still dealing with Cora, i was under the impression that she only dealt with sales? I agree completely with what you just said regarding how the price increase should be charged. Cora is an owner and I would rather hear it from the horses mouth than hear it from our case manager, who would just be asking Cora anyway. Re: Greenway Estate, Marsden Park - Community Corner 629Sep 17, 2014 9:42 pm The reality is that this anticipated delay in land registration has a flow on effect on succeeding stages meaning that if stages 1A, 2A and 2B were delayed by 1.5 months this has also delayed 3A, 5A, 5B and 5C by the same amount of time. The building tenders for 3B have already been prepared in time for Saturday's release so this may not have been updated as well.
dudhatra proposed that the we should all sit down with GL this coming Sunday, at about 4:00pm, and voice out what we wanted to happen as a consequence of this delay (and that is an automatic extension of the tender expiry date based on the number of days of delay). I have compiled below the stages and the corresponding number of forum members belonging to each stage: Stage 1A - 5 Stage 2A - 5 Stage 2B - 2 Stage 3A - 3 Stage 5A - 6 I can also inform a friend who bought in 5B about what is going on. Please PM me about the proposed meeting with GL as soon as practicable (preferably by Friday night) so I can get some numbers and let you know. @homeseeker: Vandine is absolutely correct since Cora is part owner so her word is CH's word. I believe we guys need to have chat with GL people in person & clarify ASAP regarding delay in land reg. Ultimately it all depends all GL people as we cannot force Builders to amend the building contract which was already signed by us back in February. Legally we are binding by the terms & conditions.
