Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 19, 2014 8:32 pm Hi, My name is Anthony, Im new to this forum. I am hoping to get some help in regards to a development project i wish to undertake. This will be new to me. I have never undertaken a multi-dwelling development however am keen to have a go... Although i haven't yet found the parcel of land to develop on, im looking in and around the city of monash and whitehorse in Melbourne's east and am looking for land which will most likely allow me to build 2 units (6-700 sqm size block). I have been developing a feasibility model (an excel based document which aims to capture all expenses, revenues and ultimately margin) however i have some missing pieces, namely to do with all costs associated to plans and permits. I know there are several costs to consider here as well as a number of variables which may make it difficult to accurately estimate however i am asking for your advice on how much i should budget for in regards to plans and permits based on the information provided above. Should you feel you can help me but require more information please feel free to contact me however please remember i haven't yet sourced a property which is part of my challenge when it comes to being specific! Thanks in advance.
