Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 16, 2014 11:00 am Need Help. My question relates to the restrictions of were the electrical entry point is from the point of supply. I am building a new house and granny flat. My building contract states that the electrical meters are to placed on the Main House and a sub board in the granny flat. The builder has done the reverse. We are on a cnr block and the main house faces one street and the granny flat faces the other street and the point of supply is on the cnr closest to the granny flat. The builder states that the meters have to go on the granny flat as it is the closest building to the point of supply. Is this correct or is the builder taking the cheaper option?
