Tori can't wait for the spout pic - tapware has been in the 'news' a bit around here lately Hope your weekend has been productive Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 742Apr 02, 2015 2:15 pm God I've been so MIA. It's been hectic, trying to get the backyard sorted so we can get our dogs up with us finally. Grass is done and they can come up this weekend. Will upload photos over the weekend of the backyard. Meanwhile, still a trillion boxes to unpack since we've focused our efforts outside but we can now unpack our wardrobe as the fabulous lifestyle wardrobes installed it yesterday without handles as silly me forgot to supply Makeup desk Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Wardrobe: Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Matts side Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Behind the mirror... more shoes Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Also our dining room is slowly coming together. Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 744Apr 02, 2015 4:13 pm trixee Wardrobe looks great, loving all those shoe shelves! Thanks trixee, can't wait to unpack all my shoes in storage, these shelves may not even be enough hahaha. Oh and an update, I kicked up a fuss regarding our spout in the bathroom in the bath and instead of a response, all I got was our "updated addenda" which we never actually received after prestart so I was never able to pick up on the mistake which meant we didn't see the wall tap was the quatro but the spout still says Caroma elegance. Annoyed me a little but I guess we're just gonna have to fork out the $110 for the new bath spout, which I still have not got around to doing. My lord, this building thing is something else, isn't it! Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 745Apr 02, 2015 7:07 pm That's super annoying. Funny cuz our updated addenda doesn't even list the spout. Your wardrobe does look amazing. Good to know we need to provide handles for the drawers; ) Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 746Apr 02, 2015 7:30 pm Your wardrobes are lookin great. The paint color works extremely well with the white panels. Our Rivello build in Ellenbrook Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 747Apr 06, 2015 9:09 pm Hey! The wardrobes look amazing! You must be so happy with them! I have decided to put mine on hold to get some furniture. Omg - your place is just amazing though. You must be feel so excited (although tired). More photos please, more photos Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 748Apr 06, 2015 9:56 pm Your huge WIR looks great and the white contrasts nicely with your grey walls you must be so happy! If you asked my OH he'd say the dyson was worth showcasing, he's after one lol but we can't really justify buying a new one while the old dyson is still in perfect order! I spy some blinds too - it looks great, are you happy with it? Who did you get for blinds and was it mega expensive if I may ask? Hope you've had a productive long weekend - bet the WIR is not empty anymore Oh - wanted to ask - how is it that you didn't get an updated addenda? Weren't you meant to sign it each time something has changed on it? Could you perhaps ask Chris to help/find out? Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 749Apr 06, 2015 10:07 pm Cant believe how big your WIR is!!!! I walked through a redink display when i was looking for prestart ideas and absolutely fell in love with the ensuite/WIR. Seems to be their signiture! So jealous, your house looks amazing! Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 750Apr 07, 2015 1:26 am Al looking fantastic tori that WIR is pretty special huh Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updates 752Apr 07, 2015 9:08 pm ToriMatt8132 Also, decided to get our wardrobe fitted out by the infamous Wayne at Lifestyle Wardrobes. Means spending the weekend gutting and patching/painting it in preparation but it'll be worth it. Plan as follows: .... Hi tori, i have a question regarding lifestyle wardrobes, how did you go about getting quotes for your wardrobes? Did they have to come over to your house and measure? We are really keen on gettin ours done as we have a his & hers robes and wanting to get our daughters double wardrobe done as well. Looking forward to hearing from you ️ x Our build thread: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73578 our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73578 Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 754Apr 09, 2015 11:24 pm Just had a big catch up on your thread! I have major robe envy!! Lol that thing is a work of art hehe! The place looks beautiful! Also very jealous your getting lawn soon. We still haven't got a fence or shed so lawn is a few weeks away yet our poor pooch has become a permanently inside dog lol although she has managed to sneak off a few times... She likes to poop on the nice grass across the street in front of the estate lake and fountains :O just hoping the neighbors don't catch her!! lol Building our first home - https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=73568 Re: First Home - Build w Redink! Good news - thanks Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 756Apr 10, 2015 12:56 pm Thanks to Chris (and MalSannie for asking), he pointed out the error of my ways. Apparently we signed the updated addenda back in May last year haha my mistake, we obviously just didn't read through the document carefully enough (and seemed to have not kept a copy at home). Chris has been super helpful though and I really appreciate the time he took to get back to me!
At least I could raise the issue for others to carefully read through documents! I honestly thought the bath mixer had the spout included, seems there's two types, the separate mixer and spout and the combined mixer and spout! We chose just the separate mixer and didn't even choose a spout, stayed the original "elegance" spout I'm more annoyed at myself for not picking up on it to be honest. Anywho, problem solvered! A little update on the house (and I'll post a few pics this weekend), the front landscaping is basically finished, just the lawn to go down today hopefully. The backyard is almost complete, the decking is being delivered on Tuesday next week but our babies (chihuahuas) are now up with us which is an incredible feeling and are secure in the backyard. Unpacking is almost complete and washing of the icky storage smelling clothes is almost done. Clothesline is up and has already been used a lot but nothing is drying in this god awful weather, back to using the clothes horse inside. Foxtel and telstra are up and working so internet and becoming homebodies is now in effect. So much more to do, so many things to buy and furniture to sort out but hey, we've got the next 30 years to do that I guess haha. Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 757Apr 10, 2015 3:14 pm You are so super organised with your landscaping and everything else!! I don't see us having the outside done anytime soon and we are still waiting for our fibre connection so no tv or internet for us yet!! It sucks about your spout, I would have assumed that both would have changed as well! At least it should be an easy fix for you Your moved in pictures look great!! Can't wait to see more!
