Love the kitchen and all the little touches you're putting in! Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 762Apr 11, 2015 4:31 pm Looking fantastic tori. Landscaping is looking awesome, well done for getting so much done on the never ending list that seems to come with moving lol Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 763Apr 11, 2015 6:12 pm It is looking lovely, Tori you've done so much! Your garden looks so nice and tidy and I love how your house looks in the night shots with the lights on inside. I can imagine the frustration of not having the time to do all the things that need doing, but it seems you're using the time you do have very very well. Bummer about the tap but yes at least it is something easy to change later on Gosh you've got lovely shoes! I'm not the typical girl wrt shoes, I have only a few pairs and wear them till they fall apart I wouldn't know when to wear which pair if I had that many Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 764Apr 11, 2015 7:17 pm You have done so much . See with all the added extras in your home the colour of the wall s look different . Mal you sound like me lol . I don't have many shoes either probley wouldn't even know how to walk with those shoes lol. The bottom row is more my style .he he Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 765Apr 11, 2015 9:53 pm Looking amazing, and it looks like you have synced yourself in and your 'living' which is great to see. Outdoor area's look great, I like what you have done with the front garden! Also, nice finish off photo with the shoes Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Slowly but surely coming together I guess haha still need to buy some more furniture and decor and fun stuff but for now just focusing on unpacking and becoming comfortable in the house, making it feel real haha. belzey Looking fantastic tori. Landscaping is looking awesome, well done for getting so much done on the never ending list that seems to come with moving lol Thanks Belzey you've made me feel better about the list haha but in saying that, one thing comes off the list and another two things are put on as I'm sure you're aware of haha. Haven't found my "style" yet, things I thought were me on pinterest and from looking around, I'm finding are not me and I'm having to rethink things! Exhausting haha. MalSannie It is looking lovely, Tori you've done so much! Your garden looks so nice and tidy and I love how your house looks in the night shots with the lights on inside. I can imagine the frustration of not having the time to do all the things that need doing, but it seems you're using the time you do have very very well. Bummer about the tap but yes at least it is something easy to change later on Thank you Mal we wanted a really simple and clean garden and it's turned out really good, the rain this weekend has been a godsend for the garden (I'll never say that again because I hate winter haha). Yeah, we're trying just to get the important stuff out the way yet which is why we have no couches in our living area yet or nothing hanging on the walls or no cushions in the theatre rooms haha. Melsie68 Gosh you've got lovely shoes! I'm not the typical girl wrt shoes, I have only a few pairs and wear them till they fall apart I wouldn't know when to wear which pair if I had that many I think my OH was a bit shocked again at seeing all my shoes on display. He forgot how many I owned haha. Poor guy! The only reason I have such ridiculously high shoes is because I'm only 5'8 and my OH is 6'6, it's a great excuse! Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE wearing flats as well, I just hid those behind the mirror, gotta keep up appearances hahaha. Melsie68 You have done so much . See with all the added extras in your home the colour of the wall s look different . Mal you sound like me lol . I don't have many shoes either probley wouldn't even know how to walk with those shoes lol. The bottom row is more my style .he he I know, I'm so happy with how the walls have turned out, couldn't have got a better colour really. Still sometimes looks pale blue but I actually love it and it really works and it's such a calming colour! I love the bottom row of my shoe collection there as well haha I basically live in gym attire over the weekend, especially now I have an excuse of being busy with house stuff all weekend haha. JustinInPerth Looking amazing, and it looks like you have synced yourself in and your 'living' which is great to see. Outdoor area's look great, I like what you have done with the front garden! Also, nice finish off photo with the shoes Thanks Justin, it's slowly coming along but we've got a lot done. I feel much better after this weekend as well. Internet is up and running and basically every room except the study is done now (apart from the furniture we still need to buy). I'm excited to think I can just go home tonight and cook dinner and vege out and watch Game of Thrones in the theatre room and not have to unpack or help out in the back yard. Gotta finish off with the good stuff like my shoes haha JnM Luv what you have done for the paving, from the front to side path and how it leads to the alfresco. It has that continuous flow. Thanks JnM, that's what we aimed to do and we're so happy with the result! Just can't wait for the lawn to go down out the front and we'll be sand free justy Everything looks amazing Tori! I absolutely love your kitchen!!! Thanks Justy I LOVE our kitchen! It's a bugger to keep clean though haha even with two of us, somehow it's always a mess, I think coz there is such a long island with nothing on it. Just means I'll have to shop to make it cluttered with nice things rather than bits and bobs haha. Glad to see your house is coming along now Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! The list seems to get bigger the longer you live in the house The good thing about you living in it while doing it Tori is you can bring things in slowly and find the style that you want as you go...then when you do find it you will probably change it up again if you are anything like me Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 770Apr 27, 2015 1:43 am Just caught up Tori! You have done so much to your stunning home. What a super organized little vegemite you are!! Your landscaping is really gorgeous- did you design it all yourselves? And inside is taking shape beautifully as well. Good on you! Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 771Apr 27, 2015 4:58 pm Hi Tori! Just caught up on your thread and your house is looking lovely! The landscaping seems to be going great! Where are you? I miss your updates and want to see what your house is looking like and more photos. I can't believe I am nearly in now. Feels like you have been in yours forever now! I hope you are well. Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 773May 23, 2015 9:24 pm You took the words right out of my mouth JustinInPerth. Been thinking about you Tori and would love to see pics. Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Post Handover Updat 774Jul 22, 2015 2:19 am Hi tori, actually came across this thread looking for elevations for my upcoming build.Noticed your elevation was very similar to what I was given as a potential by my builder (albeit at a cost of $2.7k) - just wondering how much yours cost and also if you had a better centred, full frontal picture in good lighting of the finished elevation/frontage now? Most recent pic here was on page 38 but was at darker night and slightly cut off. Sorry to be a pain! Just wanted to see how my elevation looked given the similarities. Do you like the full length windows up the front? Something I haven't worked out whether to go full length or part way up to allow the couch to sit underneath against that fonrtage wall... or to leave it as a full length. 1.
