Floors 702Mar 18, 2015 12:32 pm JustinInPerth awesome - the walls look great! PANIC OVER! haha Back room lights look amazing, they are like my Kitchen pendant lights! Cant wait to see them up!! Your kitchen is MASSIVE! Its so great. I really want a kitchen that big one day! Haha panic almost over, am quite nervous about seeing it with the flooring, tomorrow is going to be a big day! Yeah I love those lights, only in the bedrooms but add a little bit of industrial in to flow with the rest of the furniture I've got coming for the living and dining areas. Oh god, I'm in absolute love with our kitchen, I should say my kitchen since my OH will never get a look in haha although in the 9 years we've been together, he's never only cooked once or twice, oh and ordered a pizza a few times if that counts haha. belzey Can't wait to see pics of your flooring tori... You and me both They're coming, will be up tomorrow Kelsey78 Cool lights!!! I love the paint colour, cant wait to see it with the flooring! I can't remember, what flooring are you having again? Thanks Kelsey, will be seeing our flooring tomorrow, fingers crossed it all blends as well as I imagined in my head haha. We have really dark timber floorboards going in and carpets in the bedrooms/theatre Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Paint done. Floors 703Mar 18, 2015 12:38 pm So, timber is apparently finished, with the skirting going on today, not the actual skirting we want (that won't be for awhile) but the stuff you get with the timber purchase. The carpets are going in today as well. I'm off for the next two days as well as our furniture is being delivered and our blinds are being installed tomorrow quite excited to see them in the house! Wayne from Lifestyle Wardrobes is also coming to measure up our WIR and makeup room so hopefully wardrobes aren't too far off either I'll be cleaning all day Thursday and Friday to ensure everything is ready for us to move in. Also our telstra connection is happening on Friday morning and our foxtel Friday arvo so we'll be all set up for the weekend We're hiring a truck Saturday to move all our stuff out of storage and into our beautiful new home SUPER EXCITED doesn't even really cut it, even though I know there is so much work to be done! Our landscaping for the front has been scheduled and will be finished within a month. Siteworks start in about 2 weeks. Anyway, enough of an update, will post photos tomorrow if anyone is interested Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Paint done. Floors 704Mar 18, 2015 12:42 pm Looks good Tori Matt, just reading through your thread now looks fantastic. We are building in Woburn Park. Quick question, for your Internet does Telstra install the box on your wall near your power meter? Or was that already done? I'm not sure how that all gets installed in case I need to do anything to get that sorted before we move in. Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Paint done. Floors 705Mar 18, 2015 12:42 pm OF COURSE we're interested!!!! Bring on the pics. That is all sooooo exciting Tori. Can't wait to see your fabulous floorboards. I think we're just going with the scotia that comes with the wood floor too. Can't afford the full skirting right now Good luck this week. It'll be full on, but SOOO worth it. Just don't get so busy that you forget to post pics for us:) Re: First Home - Build w Redink! KEYS!!! Paint done. I'm not sure how that all gets installed in case I need to do anything to get that sorted before we move in. Just found out Telstra do this when they install the internet connection. Thought I would post as an FYI They install what's called an ONT on the wall which allows the internet and TV connection to your house. Foxtel won't work until this box is installed either.
