Seriously I wonder about tradies when they just do their own thing and nothing like what is what you wanted. My carpenter father in law is the same. I work in IT and regularly have contractor companies come in with the "close enough is good enough" attitude OH and I spent a few hours spreading a little soil around today, by a little I mean 10 cubic metres Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ That and I have started to spring clean/box/throw out/clean room by room in our rental ready for the move and for open inspections starting Monday. It's great to see a thread about them, have they stuck to their specified time frame's?? Will be following this thread for updates My Build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=74866 Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Grout 126Nov 23, 2014 8:26 am Excited_much Hi!! I'm new to this forum, and am considering chosing the same builder you have. It's great to see a thread about them, have they stuck to their specified time frame's?? Will be following this thread for updates Hi & Welcome Tbh M3 have been pretty good to us - the quality of their work/trades is high and they get things done pretty quick. Our only delays have been due trade availability. They did promise to have us in by xmas and they are trying as hard as they can to achieve that for us. As per contract they have 250 business days to complete. They have been pretty flexible about letting us on site as you can see we are building a shed and have put top soil down for lawn. We still have a fence to go I think with any builder (just read the threads) they don't contact with updates as often as you like - but we do have our SS and CLOs contact details. All the best, look forward to seeing your own thread Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Grout 127Nov 23, 2014 11:08 pm YAY things are looking beautiful!! Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Grout 128Nov 24, 2014 10:59 am JustinInPerth YAY things are looking beautiful!! Cheers Justin! Oh I can't wait for the taps and finishing touches!! Spent the day packing and cleaning didn't leave the house and racked up almost 30,000 steps! Freaking exhausted!! Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Grout 129Nov 24, 2014 7:56 pm Back to an untouched house again, no progress. Sigh. Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Grout 130Nov 25, 2014 7:49 pm Another day another tradie free house Emailed the builder this morning for an update however still no response. Sad Panda. Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Grout 132Nov 25, 2014 10:59 pm That looks like a long list for only a few days They won't get that done if they don't go onsite ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! Well over their unrealistic dates and getting my hopes up - an update without us calling them would be nice. I haven't had an update without prompt since August. Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Waiting again 134Nov 26, 2014 9:29 am But you are not far off so keep positive! Its still exciting and I think with the stress of building we all tend to look at the negative, myself included. COUNTDOWN IS ON SALSABY!!! Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Waiting again 135Nov 26, 2014 11:20 am yep, keystart are 7-10 working days for handover from invoice and paperwork being sent in. I have the paperwork here and all ready to be filled in, just need the PCI to be next tuesday or it will all fall through ______________________________________________________________________ Signed up Jan 2013........Almost done! Fingers crossed for you though - have you got much left? Still discussing our options after the 29th as we won't have a place to live. OH has 4 cars and I have one so we need to store these plus our furniture plus somewhere for us and our Dog. If I didn't have bills to pay I'd take leave without pay and just disappear til it's complete Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Waiting again 137Nov 26, 2014 11:30 am Can you complete your shed in time and store your stuff in there? Tho I suppose insurance may not cover it if anything happens Our build thread: https://forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=70984 Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - Waiting again 138Nov 26, 2014 11:36 am We were hoping to have the shed completed but we are quickly running out of days and I'm just not strong enough to help him with the roller doors etc.
Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - tentative PCI 19th D 139Nov 26, 2014 2:24 pm Tentative PCI for the 19th Dec. Advised Keystart and we gave the final paperwork ready... fingers crossed. The builder has agreed to let us move in til it is complete Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - tentative PCI 19th D 140Nov 26, 2014 3:43 pm Good news!:) My Build: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=74866 This certainly doesn't look good.
