Our Rottie just loved running a muck in her new backyard Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - SLAB!! 22Jun 29, 2014 8:20 pm Thanks guys and gals! very excited to see bricks now, we got a little carried away this morning and were comparing room sizes to what we currently have and planning our furniture, layout etc My pantry is bigger than my current wardrobe... Oh yes! Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - SLAB!! [PIC HEAVY] 23Jul 02, 2014 9:13 pm Ok so this week we have sewerage, stormwater and electrics connected to the block and slab. Hopefully by this time next week we should have bricks and windows delievered and if the weather behaves we will have brickies onsite the following week We have been having a bet pool for when the house is going to be completed by - we are still hoping to be in by Christmas... Anyone want to take a guess at when we will get the keys? Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - SLAB!! [PIC HEAVY] 24Jul 15, 2014 3:12 pm Well more updates - we have had to change our overhead power to underground, which we were a little worried would cost us a fortune end up being a standard $685 We put the application in on Friday last week and the cable has been run but the drill under the road should be completed tomorrow (Wednesday) or latest Thursday. This has pushed forward when we can start with bricks so we are hoping along with our SS to have the bricks and windows onsite for Friday Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - SLAB!! [PIC HEAVY] 26Jul 20, 2014 4:41 pm Hi Emski, Thankyou! Keystart tbh were hard work but we can't be certain whether it was our resolve mortgage broker helping either. My advice to you is keep on them, keep records of all your dealings with them and copies of your paper work as they are bound to loose at least one. Once you get the loan it's smooth sailing we pay $200 a month now til we get keys and don't worry with progress payments as these go straight to them. All the best Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - SLAB!! [PIC HEAVY] 27Jul 20, 2014 5:35 pm Thanks for tip! We've got a broker sussing out for us. Ive heard bad and good about keystart so always good to hear from someone whose dealt with them What kind of paperwork do they require? Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - SLAB!! [PIC HEAVY] 28Jul 20, 2014 5:47 pm It's pretty standard as in loan/mortgage documents for credit checks (birth certs, pay slips etc) but there is the form also for paying for the valuation (they lost ours) the contracts, building plans or house contracts if established. Keep at your broker - the hardest wait is between pre - approval and formal finance and everyone I have spoken to that used Keystart never made their date for formal finance. Be up front with the real estate agent for land or house to let them know it's through Keystart and they are notorious for missing deadlines. Also when you submit paperwork and every re-submission) your application will go to the bottom of the pile for approx 5-10 business days before it will get re - assessed. Make so you ask your broker up front for ALL the paperwork needed up front so you can submit it upfront and avoid reassessment line delays. Goodluck Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - SLAB!! I am new here in this forum, have been browsing for quite some time now.. going to sign the contract to build our first family home with m3 residential next week.. hope our building journey is as smooth as yours.. may I know if you are going to have the builder do the internal wall painting and blinds as well? Re: Take Two: Warnbro, M3 Residential - ROOF COMPLETE [PICS] 40Aug 29, 2014 8:15 pm Hi Woofiekz, Thankyou! close to half way now really hoping we are in by Christmas! Oh that's exciting! Marc is fantastic, they will certainly look after you. When you get your thread going message me on here with a link so I can follow your progress! As we went through Keystart we had to have blinds however they put a sealant on the walls now so painting is not required so we skipped this for other items... we are slightly regretting that as we are not looking forward to painting!! EEEK!! All the best with your build!! This certainly doesn't look good. I would be engaging with an independent inspector to have a look at this. As for the unscheduled site visits, most builders are quite… 1 28290 1 4641 Yes, I have. But, I haven't paid yet.
